How can Republicans blame Democrats when Democrats have no power?

Next up....Tax Reform

Damn Democrats wouldn't let us slash taxes on billionaires

Tax reform is needed. Just like border security is needed and healthcare reform is needed. Democrats will do what they always do...demagogue the GOP for attempting to fix what liberal policies have broken!
old, can you tell me how infrastructure for the whole country, for houston disaster,, tax cuts . health care etc etc will be paid for?
/----/ Reforming the tax code will increase the revenue to the Treasury. Eliminate waste and fraud in the budget and social programs and we can accomplish everything you list.

Republicans go on endlessly about how Democrats lost all the elections and have no power.

Remember, no power, no blame.

Watching Trump blame Democrats about his failed policies.

Complaints the Democrats are pushing for investigations into Trump's illegal activities.

Democrats have no power.

Now this is the funny part. Republicans have gone after Hillary for over 30 years and couldn't find anything except conspiracies.

They have unwillingly gone after Trump for 6 months. Even trying to block their own investigations and already, you have Republicans saying his presidency is over.

30 years after Clinton? Nothing!

6 months after Trump, fighting it every step of the way, being forced into it by the Justice system, the American people and the press and Trump is not only humiliated, but probably on the way out.

Well, Republicans are showing us the cesspool. Who the scum really are. And it ain't pretty. But thank God it's not the Democrats. Mostly helpless bystanders.
Everything is against them...the Courts are against them...the Press is against them...even the Government they run is against them.....they are poor persecuted victims. :crybaby:
come on bodi ,,you know as well as I your repub party is split into so many parts they don;t know which was is up or down And get nothing done and 2018 elections will hurt

What a ridiculous post

During the last 2 years of the Bush administration and the 1st 2 years of the Obama administration, Democrats owned a near Super majority control of Congress...got nothing done, nothing they are demanding the GOP (now 'in control') do everything the Democrats had the opportunity to do but passed on, and blamed the extreme minority GOP for preventing them from getting anything done.

Now the OP asks this question after the Democrats openly, publicly, declared they are 100% committed to the Obstruction of anything and everything getting passed / moving forward under the Republicans and Trump, all for the good of their own party - F* the American people and 'for the good of the country'. :p

It's a shame that no doctor under today's Obamacare has been able to come up with a cure for the devastating disease 'DNC Political Selective Memory Loss'.

Bwuhahahaha.....

Business Compliance Burden

The IRS states that business returns will take an average of 23 hours to file and cost an estimated $420 each.

Businesses in the U.S. filed over 10 million tax returns in 2012. Assuming the IRS’s estimated $420 filing cost holds true, over $4.4 billion was paid in compliance cost by businesses and non-profit organizations. Again, this does not include the actual tax burden but only the cost of filing.

Simple question
Who has been writing the tax code?
Is it the wealthy providing input or working Americans who are dictating what income should be exempt?
The tax code that covers deductions for dependents and mortgage deductions is very short
Where did the rest of it come from?

You know what, Eddie? The amount of money that Government takes in each year here in the US is a staggering amount! The problem is that we've allowed our Government to become so grossly inefficient and wasteful that large portions of the money is simply wasted. We need reformers who are not part of the system to clean up the culture and restore sanity to Washington.

We also need to take a good hard look at the entitlements that we've obligated ourselves to. Instead of calling anyone who calls for cuts to wasteful programs out for "destroying" the safety net...let's admit that we DO have waste and redundancy and fix the problem.

I know. Once again we will get USMB Republicans saying: He's crazy, who even knows what he is talking about? They do that a lot.
Dean, we say that because you do talk like a crazy person
That's not it. I speak English. Most USMB Republicans speak "yawl". It's difficult to understand. Probably works both ways.

How much money is a Government of over 300 million people supposed to take in?

To say Democrats have no power is proof of your ignorance. Are you not familiar with FEDERAL JUDGES? What about the 9th Circus?
Democrats have so much power that even many "Republicans" vote along their lines...not out of righteousness, but out of sheer corruption.

The greatest wrong the right has committed (and continues) is it's dogged persistence to remain passive, silent and compliant in the face of leftist corruption and fascism and it's failure to realize that duty to fight for freedom and justice is more important than maintaining their status quo of comfort and the illusion of security.

The Right in Venezuela made that mistake.

And secondly, the Right's delusion that in spite of the compliance, silence and failures to act, God will take care of everything for them.

As has happened since the dawn of time, God will allow the lamb to be killed by the lion, the seal to be killed by the shark, the butterfly to be eaten by the spider and the timid and weak to be devoured and ruled by the tenacious. If the right is waiting on God to win it's wars for them, the war is already lost.

The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.

All that is required for evil men to prevail is for good men to do nothing.

Lobbyists for the super wealthy and politicians who are in their pocket
Working Americans have nobody lobbying for their interests in the tax code

Trump wants to reform the tax code for his own benefit. How does that make things any better?

Dems are in Deep State's pocket. And Deep State has world wide power, which Trump wants to deprive therm from.

That's why Deep State (including such a powerful crook like Soros) declares all out war to Trump: his intentions of make America great and not to interfere into other countries threaten Deep State power).
