According to the political elites, we are dimwitted reactionary Neanderthals who don't understand the nuances and complexities of modern governance. Here's a newsflash: We have more experience, knowledge, education and intelligence than any of these myopic self-serving go-along-to-get-along groupies, who are generally incapable of original thought.

Let me give you an example: In 1992 I voted for Ross Perot, not because I thought Perot was a genius, but because Bush 41 was being played as a fool by the Democratic Congress. The only way to expose them was to put them in charge of everything so that the public might wake up to their destructive policies. Sure enough, it only took two years before a Republican Congress was voted in as a replacement in 1994. We had a similar situation in 2010, when the Democrats were again voted out of Congress. But once again, the Republicans put up a milquetoast candidate who was unable to unseat a defective incumbent President.

What have we learned? That there is a natural pendulum which swings equally to the right and the left every decade or so? If that is the case, why worry about the direction our country is taking? Pretty soon, the Ship of State will reverse course and we will return to the good old days. WRONG.

What do traditional Republican candidates offer to solve these problems? A slower rate of descent? Lofty conservative principles which are beyond the comprehension or interest of the average voter? Carefully crafted speeches which are designed to not offend anyone? Ronald Reagan may have ended communism abroad, but even he could not stop the march of socialism at home.

Politically correct speech is destroying any chance of saving our country. There is exactly one candidate for President who is able and willing to break this stranglehold on America. You know who this is.

Another thread about white southerners?

I've always objected to those who criticize Trump supporters as 'uneducated.' Education doesn't mean common sense and vice versa. And the incredible mounting support for Trump shows that not just high school drop outs are voting for him. However, Trump supporters seem to have no interest in HOW Trump plans to carry out his agenda of change. It does make a difference, you know. So many people are angry with the powers that be for giving us empty promises. But that seems to be EXACTLY what Trump is doing, and we are eating it up!

I am going to buy a new car next year. I do not now know the exact make, model, color and cost of that car. Is there something wrong with me, or with people who expect me to already have that information?

Well now, if you don't already know what the primary use of that car will be, how are you going to make a decision concerning what type of vehicle you should buy?

But I do know what qualities I look for when I am voting for a leader of my nation. And Trump has none of those qualities.

Typical mentally impaired liberal who can't comprehend, much less answer, a straightforward question.
