John Kerry THANKS Iran

Meanwhile Iran continues to hold other US hostages
nope
5 American hostages still in Iran.
you can keep lying, it won't make it more true

From the LA Times, DUMBASS:

'Washington Post journalist Jason Rezaian, who faces an undisclosed verdict in an Iranian espionage trial, is one of at least three Americans of Iranian descent imprisoned by Tehran. A fourth American disappeared while on the Iranian island of Kish in 2007.'

Americans arrested / captured and held by Iran are not being held in captivity because you want to play the Bill Clinton 'definition of the word 'is' game?!

What a dumbass!

Meanwhile Iran continues to hold other US hostages
nope

So you are actually claiming that Iran is NOT holding any US citizens in captivity?!
not at all. but prisoners are not hostages.
Prisoners?
Give the dates of each prisoner's time will be over.
Hint: there is no date.
sucks to be in the iranian justice system i guess

Freezing of all Iranian assets to pay for the 79 hostage lawsuit and something for the Sailors for having to go thru that.
lol. so you are completely detached from reality
Says the terrorist sympathizer who lies about the American hostages.
lol. you just keep lying about thise "hostages"
the weak minded like easyt65 will believe you

Sucks to be an American being held by our enemies during the Obama administration when he sees no political benefit to trying to ensure you aren't left behind...

i never said they aren't 'held in captivity'

i said they aren't hostages because they aren't hostages

Whatever helps you sleep at night...and helps you try to stop the comparison between Carter and Obama... :p

If Kerry and Obama are so good at negotiating, if they really believe in 'no one left behind', and if the release of our sailors is a sign of our 'great new post-deal relationship' lime Kerry claims WHERE ARE THE OTHER ANERICANS BEING HELD BY IRAN?

Obama didn't even ASK for THEIR release during the negotiations because he was AFRAID they would walk away from the table. So much for his bullshit about leaving no one behind! Sorry guys, making this non-binding deal to secure Obama's legacy is more important....

Other news reports tell of how Kerry told the Iranian Rep this incident 'coud be good for both of us'...really?! 10 of our sailors were captured, treated like POWs, their picture was plastered on line for the world to see, the US was 'called out', Kerry was forced to apologize, and now Iran is supposedly lecturing the US and 'warning Congress'.

Meanwhile Iran continues to hold other US hostages whose release another impotent President either can't or won't even ASK for, for fear of offending the country that not long ago was being led in chants of 'Death to America' by its leader.

Should we start a 'hostage count' like they did with Carter? I wonder if he will break Carter's record for not being able to get US hostages released... but Kerry is such a masterful negotiator he ought to have them out of there in no time, especially considering our great new relationship with Iran... if he ever gets around to asking for them back.

No one is innocent. Just ask those guys in Gitmo who did nothing wrong. We can even thank Dumbya for helping radicalise some of them once they were released.

In an interview post-deal negotiations:

'Secretary of State John Kerry reacted to the news of Washington Post reporter Jason Rezaian's reported conviction by stressing that he didn't want the American hostages in Iran to adversely affect the nuclear deal or vice versa.'
