Lewd Comment to 17 Year Old Girl.....

Btw, this is one of the few times where your writing style really worked to the advantage PC. It built up the suspense while I read through the numbers and then I laughed out loud when I got to number 8.

That would be because you have no class.

I laughed my ass off, because it's shocking a guy would say that when Congress is in session into a microphone that is getting recorded!

He has a snake under his desk!!! That is worse that Guam is going to tip over!

Those who are entrusted with public office should be held to some kind of standards. Less than perfection but more than degeneracy. Unfortunately, the standard is some degree of degeneracy.

For those who looked back on the good ol' days of a Democrat President's lecherous behavior...
...and watching the 6 0'Clock new for titillation....well, for those folks, there's some good news!

Never let it be said that the party of secularization doesn't have a strong bench of up-and-coming players, willing and able to behave with the prurience of an uninhibited 15 year old.

Connecticut State Representative Ernest Hewett [Democrat] is ready, willing and able to perform in the way we've come to expect of some Democrat elected officials.

In fact....he may be in the process of padding his resume for higher office!

1. "State Rep. Ernest Hewett, D-New London, refused to resign Friday after losing his role as deputy speaker of the House over what was taken as a lewd remark he made to a teenage girl at a legislative hearing last week.

2. Hewett said Thursday that he didn't mean anything sexual, but admitted he could see how someone could take it that way and added: "I have weird ways of getting my point across."

3. Just how weird was revealed Friday, when House Democrats released a recording of the Feb. 20 episode, which occurred during an Appropriations Committee hearing about state funding for the Connecticut Science Center in Hartford.

4. The girl to whom he made the remark — whose name and high school were muted off the recording at the points she said them — testified to the committee for about her positive experience as a "teen ambassador" for two years at the science center. She said her work with other teens there helped to overcome her shyness.

5. ... 'cause I'm usually a very shy person, and now I'm more outgoing," she said into the microphone at the Legislative Office Building. Also, she said: "During that time I was able discover that I really love working with children. It was so much fun for me. I was able to teach little children about certain things, like snakes that we have. I was able to share that with them — and the turtles that we have, which are amazing, and they're awesome. And just the kids — they're just great. So I want to do something towards that, with working with children when I get older."

6. "And I learned a lot — like I never thought that I would be able to be, you know … I never liked snakes, but I ended up loving them." Laughter is heard on the tape at this point.

7. The girl finished her testimony in that somewhat light-hearted vein, and Walker said: "That's very good. you're a great spokeswoman for the Connecticut Science Center. It seems like a good investment for the state. Are there any questions? Yes, Representative Hewett."

8. "And if you're bashful, I've got a snake settin' under my desk here," Hewett said."

Maybe he's trying to be the Ted Nugent of the left?

While I take umbrage with your suggestion that this a Democrat thing, I will say that Mr. Hewett deserves what's comin.

There is a reference in there to a President who is a rapist....that's the dots to connect.

But...I admit to laying it on thick.
There are Republicans who deserve contumely.....but, generally they resign.

No, they do not generally resign.

Craig didn't resign. Vitter didn't resign. Sanford didn't resign. Hopper didn't resign. Ashburn didn't resign. Ensign refused to resign over his mistress until it came out he used campaign cash to bribe her. Bob Allen did not resign until he was convicted.

The list of those who did not resign is quite long.

Katzndogz DOES NOT ANSWER THE QUESTION

He got an ovation for raping a boy? Simple question. Answer it.

Yes he did and I gave you the links to prove it. Studds apologized and expected at least a censure. What happened was that the democrats stood, turned their backs on the republicans voting for censure and gave Studds a standing ovation.

Look it up yourself. It's all still there. When Studds went back to his home district he expected to be pelted with eggs, but the democrats gave him thunderous applause.

Why? Because that's just what democrats are like, that's why.

Now you are lying. The links did not support that he got an ovation for raping a boy.

Your type in the GOP are why we have lost five of the last six elections. Your type will cost the 2016 election if we stop from forcing you out, like we have been doing the day after Romeny was defeated.

That is because we have an American Politburo with a guaranteed re-election for as long as they wish, and this gives them every confidence they don't have to resign when caught with their tool where it ought not to be.

"American Politubro." Shut the fuck up if you can't use terms in a realistic sense.

What the hell is wrong with you?

98 percent re-election rate in the House. Fact.

Over 80 percent re-election rate in the Senate. Fact.

For all intents and purposes, we have an American Politburo.

Over the last 10 years there have been 265 congressional elections in California. Either the incumbent or a successor from the same party has won 264 times.

Read the article:

The current 24th Congressional District, which covers all of Ventura County except for Ventura and Oxnard, has a voter-registration breakdown of 41 percent Republicans and 35 percent Democrats. The proposed new district, which includes nearly all of Ventura County except for Simi Valley, is a mirror image of that: 41 percent Democrats and 35 percent Republicans.

See how they changed the balance?

That seat in California had been held by a Republican for 10 years, but once it was redrawn the seat was taken over by a Democrat.

A politician today can be filmed throwing live puppies into rush hour traffic and still be confident in being re-elected. Our system is seriously corrupt, broken, owned, captured. Whatever you want to call it.

What the fuck is wrong with him? He told the truth. Research and see what % of criminals, er, I mean politicians get "thrown out of office," not only on the national level but the state level. That's why they spend 65% of their "work week" campaigning, not governing. Job for life!

He used the term "American Politburo". That is an absolutely insane comparison. We are not the USSR, and such a comparison would have gotten a strong rebuke in the classroom for such stupidty. Use the Mafia if you want to be stupid about mixing up terms concerning corruption.

g500 is the equivalent of a bigrebnc1775: completely misuses terms and definitions.

Son, you are not entitled to your own "myfacts".

I did not say we had a Soviet Politburo. I said we have an American Politburo. I cannot misuse a term I coined myself.

The Soviet Politburo was re-elected at about the same rate as our American Politburo is. The means by which this was/is accomplished differ, but the end results are the same. Once you make it to the Politburo, you are in for as long as you wish. Just follow the Party line, and all will be well for you.

Minored in Russian history in grad school, so I know it was a flip comment about the Politburo. But the results in our system today are about identical. You got the cash, you're more or less in for life.

No they are not identical. Thanks for the admission of your "flip comment".

Hint for you: all societies are susceptible to the "cash".

What a dumb thing for Rep. Hewett to say; maybe it was just a brain fart, but the real point is where is the liberal media? If a Republican had made this remark it would be getting a lot more attention....a lot more.

It is amusing how someone is getting upset over my use of Politburo considering how often the terms "Nazi" and "dictator" and "socialist" and "Marxist" are thrown around on this board.
