They cannot win at the ballot box, so they will force another recession on the country. The repubs have it all figured out!

Hey lets say it is ALL Obama's idea. If I remember right, there was a rather lenghty negoiation going on. And going no where. So lets say Obama told Boner that his idea would be to make a proposal so onerous that even the RETHUGS wouldn't want to see it go through.

So he tried to devise a plan that would be so painful that even rethugs would want to avoid having the plan implemented.

What was wrong with that idea. I have seen it used before in other situations. And it worked.

How was Obama to know that Bohner and CO. were so fuking stupid and pig headed and so full of hatred for both Obama and the middle class, that they would embrace the sequester. want it to happen. Be glad that it is happening.

How was Obama to know that rethugs are this fuking stupid? He (Obama) was trying to fix a problem. Thinking the rehtugs would help at some time.

Let's get the facts straight. Sequestration was not created by Obama but rather a joint committee composed of Democrats and Republicans from the House and Senate in 2011. Sequestration was incorporated in the Budget Control Act of 2011. It was approved by a large majority in both the House and the Senate.

The FAA announced that they will be reducing night time staff at our local airport and eliminating overtime.

Obama has officially announced the failure of negotiations with Republicans and, therefore, the entry into forced budget cuts related to the 'Sequester' from today. Cuts will mainly affect Defense budgets and could cause the loss of 750,000 jobs.

These cuts are not off in future, they are on us now.
