They won't be happy until they push the unemployment rate over 10% again. If they keep the sequester in place for the rest of the year, we will see double digit unemployment again.

That could well be the plan. Kill the recovery and blame it on the Dems. If the pubs could get a recession going by the end of the year, it might save them.

Some interesting comments from the left here in regards to debt especially as the current President told us in 2006 America has a debt problem and that raising the debt ceiling would be a failure of leadership and voted against doing it. Funny how his view and the view of the left on this subject has changed now that the failing leadership is Obama's.

She was at my school protesting the loss of Bus service to her childrens school.

OMG. Obama made a symbolic vote in 2006. When he knew there wasn't a chance that the debt ceiling wouldn't be rasied.

Now what party was it that had no problem raising that pesky debt ceiling after Obama's symbolic vote? Do you know?

And what party now has the power to block the increase in the debt ceiling? And the will to do it. For no good reason other than they can.

And why was it important to raise the debt ceiling when a rethug was in the WH. But it is not important to raise it when a Dem is in the WH.

I just can't get a straight answer to that question.
