Slut Or Not??

From age 15 until sometime in the late 70s everytime I heard "she is a slut" I never, ever thought about anything negative!

With all her sexual escapades... when does she have time to study law?

You wouldn’t ask that of a man, whom you’d consider perfectly capable of being sexually active and successfully completing law school.
If a man was using a thousand bucks of condoms in a year, I'm quite certain he would be trying to bust Wilt Chamberlain's 'record', and/or his grades would be much lower and he wouldn't graduate.

As California Girl said early. I've no problem if she's a slut. I've a problem with her demanding others PAY for her ability to be a slut.

I know. 1,000 bucks a year.

$84 a month. $67 a month for the company after the patient pays a 20% copay. And insurance companies get other discounts as well. Not overwhelming for treatment of an illness like polycystic ovary disease which would require surgery if untreated.

Wilt Chamberlain was a liar.
You get as much as he claimed you do not tell about it as you are spending the rest of your life with a smile on your face.

How about you worry about your own dusty rot-crotch and keep your nose out of this woman's business?

Of course, you are the perfect example of the level to which society has fallen...the vulgar is the ideal in the circles in which you perform.

The importance of the subject of the thread is that I don't see Ms. Fluke or you as being the direction in which government should take society....
...I'm certain you don't understand that, do you, Shreddy.

I understand your position, I wonder if you do. If you get what you want, and the liberals and queers are placed in camps and only conservatives are allowed to govern, who will you scapegoat? Who will you call idiot and who will you hate?

Oh, of course. Those conservatives who rebel. The iconoclasts; maybe women who don't know their place in a world of misogynists. Wouldn't that be ironic.

1. Now, Wry...when you are reduced to this level of straw-man fabrication, it doesn't speak well for your position....

2. Let's remind you of what my position is.
It is parallel to Edmund Burke's: ‘All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing’

I agree with Charles Murray: it is a mistake for thoughtful adults not to be judgmental, to remain silent when another is behaving in a manner that is destructive, to themselves or to society.

I subscribe to: 'Silence is tacit approval and latent complicity.'

3. Now, for your chlidish and silly "If you get what you want, and the liberals and queers are placed in camps and only conservatives are allowed to govern,..."

Don't you appear less than intelligent, and guilty of dissembling, in the light of
a) FDR locking up the Japanese
b) Stalin and the Kulaks
c) Woodrow Wilson sending out thugs to beat any who disagrees....
d) The economic policies of Mussolini, Hitler, and FDR
e) FDR (see Schechter brothers) and Obama (Catholic Church) moving
against religious freedom

So...who is it who places people in camps? Locks up dissenters?
Any conservatives there?

4. You should read what Walter Lippmann, progressive and icon of journalism said:

", in 1937, at the height of the New Deal, Walter Lippmann, a repentant progressive, noted that:
“Throughout the world, in the name of progress, men who call themselves communists, socialists, fascists, nationalists, progressives, and even liberals, are unanimous in holding that government with its instruments of coercion must by commanding the people how they shall live, direct the course of civilization and fix the shape of things to come. . . . [T]he premises of authoritarian collectivism have become the working beliefs, the self-evident assumptions, the unquestioned axioms, not only of all the revolutionary regimes, but of nearly every effort which lays claim to being enlightened, humane, and progressive."
https://www.hillsdale.edu/news/imprimis/digital/rahe/default.asp

And, here you are trying to silence opposition....

5. So, in summary, I believe that one should always make their informed opinion known, and not be afraid of pointing out poor behavior.
Nowhere has anyone on my side of the argument proposed locking anyone up.....

You don't agree?

Trojan ENZ Lubricated Condoms - Walmart.com

65 cents each.

Anyone going to Georgetown can afford that.

Remind me again why it's anyone else's responsibility to pay for this woman's choices?

The hypocrisy is, as I have pointed out time and time again, where is the outrage when Gramps and Granny go to the doctor and eat as many pills as they can as a hobby?
Not all of them but many.
Until politicians quit catering to special interests be they women that demand contraceptives or seniors that demand scooters, unlimited doctor visits and trips to Pills R US nothing changes.
Why this surprises anyone is beyond me.
Again, where is the outrage when we see 1003 scooter commercials on TV "And it will be free of charge to you"?
Oh, I forgot! Republicans also turn a blind eye to that scam.

Ya' know, Dave....we have to give credit where credit is due...

the Obama strategy of spotlighting this fake contraception issue- hundreds of posts on the subject....

Kudos, Barack!

Turns out this woman Fluke was a scamster from the go. She is a 30 year old left wing kook woman's "advocate" that graduated in 2003 from Georgetown.
Fluke was a fluke.
Anita Hill deja vu.

I've heard that only very rarely are scooters provided at no cost to the scootee.

But I agree that politicians of all stripes need to stop pandering to special interest groups.

1. “Sandra Fluke Receives Call From Obama After Rush Limbaugh 'Slut' Comments” "He [Obama] encouraged me and supported me and thanked me for speaking out about the concerns of American women," Sandra Fluke Receives Call From Obama After Rush Limbaugh 'Slut' Comments

2. “Fluke, who had been turned away from the official, men-only hearing on the issue of female contraception earlier in the month, spoke mostly about the high cost of contraceptives and their importance to women's health. Limbaugh understood her remarks to mean that not only did she think she could have as much sex as she wanted, with whomever she wanted, without compromising her health or producing a baby, but that she expected honest-to-goodness, God-fearing Americans like him to pick up the tab for it.” Rush Limbaugh's Sandra Fluke slander | Sadhbh Walshe | Comment is free | guardian.co.uk

3. slut (sl t). n. 1. a. A person, especially a woman, considered sexually promiscuoushttp://www.thefreedictionary.com/slut

4. The title of the OP is, by definition, proven. But the question is, why is this front page news”?

a. The Obama administration will do anything to get his string of failures out of the news. http://www.nytimes.com/2012/03/02/u...ded-on-birth-control-coverage-poll-finds.html

b. The hallmark of liberalism is the need to erase any criticism of personal behavior.

5. This is a grave error for society. Silence falls under the view of “TACIT APPROVAL AND LATENT COMPLICITY.”
If one is silent about bad behavior, one is agreeing to same.

6. In his new book, “Coming Apart,” Charles Murray decries the change in societal attitude that he calles “ecumenical niceness”…don’t fight, share toys, take turns….and never, ever be judgmental! As a result, the upper cultural class, which has stabilized by returning to more traditional ways, survives, yet these individuals will not criticize the behaviors which are destroying the lower cultural class.

a. Ms. Fluke’s championing of the need for promiscuity is a case in point. The dogs of war have been released...attack the critic of poor behavior!

b. It is hardly shocking to see another Democrat-liberal President champion this decline in values.

c. The cultural upper-class looks at this situation, and, for the most part, simply shakes its head. Silently. Murray writes “The elites must preach what they practice.” The time is long past when the adults should consider if this Fluke-Obama agenda is the right one for America.
d. …..and make it’s opinion known:

Preach what they practice.
The water-cooler is the venue for this battle in the culture war!

Money Talks and Bullshit Walks. Nine of Lush Rambo's sponsors have pulled out. You think maybe that's the reason the ignorant son-of-a-bitch apologi ed

Sorry bout that,

1. She is ofcourse a slut, using the pill as a single women, would mean she is bumping the fur.
2. Rush said it straight, and the PC police came out cracking heads.
3. Same old shit, and the fools always fall for it.

And there you have it -- honesty at last about what the real issue is.

Y'all can sit on it, though. Times have changed. Deal with it.

Which brings to mind....

Life is but an empty dream!
For the soul is dead that slumbers,
And things are not what they seem."
