Trump campaign says it raised $52.8 million after guilty verdict in fundraising blitz

Former President Donald Trump's campaign and the Republican Party raised $52.8 million in the 24 hours after Trump was convicted on 34 felony counts in his "hush money" trial, the campaign said Friday, a staggering total that represents more than half of what they raised in the entire month of April.

A CBS News analysis of the Trump campaign's fundraising through April found he has received an influx in donations following key moments in his legal battles. Trump's fundraising also spiked when he was indicted by federal grand juries in Florida in June 2023 and Washington, D.C., in August 2023

Proving the economy is fine.

Trump's attorneys thank you very much for your donations.

I hope all the MAGAts on this message bored have donated until it hurts. That's what it will take to save America.

It's not like Trump himself pays his bills
Of course, he doesn't. His attorneys get paid by Trump's campaign contributions and donations. Trump's lawyers know Trump is a deadbeat, so they get paid by his PACS. They then know they will get paid. Thus, donations to Trump go right into the pockets of his attorneys. After all, some, if not most, of Trump's attorneys bill at over $1,500.00 an hour. Trumpers need to keep on giving to what is essentially an attorney's relief fund. Attorneys have to be paid!

$53 million is quite a haul! I wonder how many of these donors are the same folks complaining how they're scrimping by because of inflation.
