Trump Is Sued in Death of Capitol Police Officer After Jan. 6

I'm beginning to see that no matter what trump does, his troops will defend him. He could rape a 12 year old on a street corner in broad day light, and his defender would end up blaming the child. It would be something like 'she he came on to him first, and what about Hunter Biden, huh hu, hu?'.

No, it's just that we don't believe in blaming Trump for the actions of others. The Communists believe in blaming Trump for everything from the cold spell during Christmas to every fuck up Biden did since he took office.

Umm, I dunno.
Sounds like a question for the jury after listening to experts for the Plaintiff, and the experts for the Defendants.

Should we trust the jury to deliver a measure of justice....or, if not justice, compensation to the woman?

Yeah, let's see how the next step goes. Will all three....the disgraced ex-President and the two convicted criminals....be accepted by the court as legitimate defendants?
Will Trump be dropped?
Will the court rule 'no cause' or whatever they do in civil tort trials for all three?

This cake is still baking. IMHO

The problem is this bimbo got conned by some ambulance chaser. He probably advised her Trump would just hand her a pile of money to avoid embarrassment and legal costs. What he didn't tell her is that even though he's working on contingency and it won't cost her a dime, Trump can and likely will counter sue her and she'll end up with legal fees out of her ass. Trump is a very vindictive person. Money is no object to him.

If by some one in a million chance she gets one dime, Trump will go to every appeals court in the land, again, costing her a ton of money.

It will be fun when it's all played out.

Why would you support a vindictive person?

Also, what grounds would Trump have to counter sue?

Considering this will be heard by a DC Jury, Trump would pretty much be toast, as Biden got 93% of the vote.

Give him credit. His Fifth Avenue Rule demonstrated how well he knew his rubes.

Imagine after the economy tanks. Like theme parks taking pictures on rides, we can have Prog politicians forced into a broken window with a Capitol building look with anguished poor lottery winners with a weapon shooting them. Good times. Kodak moments. The capitol cop in the Ashli issue was not good.

how well he knew his rubes.
Well, poster Mac, I personally think calling them "rubes" is slightly pejorative.
Rather.......wouldn't it be more respectful if we viewed them as 'downrange silhouettes'?
Just sayin'.

Ummmm? Incoherence much?
It's 8 in the morning, poster 22lc, maybe you should get off the de-caff and switch back to regular?

Hope it goes forward.

I hope the widow of the slain officer wins.

It would be another win for the good guys.

It would? You're saying dishonesty and illegitimate lawsuits are the mark of good guys?

I've yet to see you quantify anything. Here's your chance, explain how you came to this conclusion.

They should sue Pelosi, McConnell, and Ray Epps. Pelosi turned down the National Guard. This is all about greed and it should be dismissed.

WASHINGTON — The longtime partner of a Capitol Police officer who died after the Jan. 6 attack sued former President Donald J. Trump and two Capitol rioters on Thursday, arguing that his death was a “direct and foreseeable consequence” of their roles in the mob violence that day.

The suit, filed in Federal District Court for the District of Columbia just before the second anniversary of the attack, seeks at least $10 million in damages each from Mr. Trump and two men accused of assaulting the officer, Brian D. Sicknick, with chemical spray on Jan. 6, George Tanios and Julian Elie Khater. Mr. Khater pleaded guilty in the assault, and Mr. Tanios pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges.

“The horrific events of Jan. 6, 2021, including Officer Sicknick’s tragic, wrongful death, were a direct and foreseeable consequence of the defendants’ unlawful actions,” the suit said, adding that “the defendants are responsible for the injury and destruction that followed.”

Officer Sicknick died the day after the attack, but the Washington medical examiner ruled that it was from natural causes — multiple strokes that occurred hours after the mob confrontation — and prosecutors shied away from linking his death to the assault. But the medical examiner also said that “all that transpired played a role in his condition,” and the Capitol Police consider his death a “line of duty” fatality.

He died after that day, of a stroke..........they need a left wing judge to ignore the law and sanity to push this through...

She has no standing.......this suit will go nowhere.....they were not married.

If it wasn't for your body of work, I'd think you were kidding or pretending to be aloof at least. The only thing the blob and those like him understand is pain in the pocketbook.
