Trump's promise to Evangelicals: I will destroy the Johnson amendment

This exhausting dialectic with tax exemption, islamochristiana morphing. Jaba's prisoners have other Matrix problems: currently, Iranian sanctions link to the Betsy DeVos vote. That is the theological link to Amway and the murder of Shannon McConaughey: DeVos rebuilt the bridge at Ada, Michigan after the arson (1979), and also built over one hundred churches. USMB though, has burned the Clinton mafia thread that originally mentioned it.

rightwingnut religious freaks need to leave everyone else alone.

They should honor the 11th commandment:

11. Thou shalt keep they religion to thyself.

Why?

Free exercise is just that. Are you so much of a snowflake that you get the vapors when exposed to religious speech or action?

they can't impose their religion on others through governmental means.

or do you not understand simple English?

How is their preaching from pulpit on political matters "imposing their religion through government means"

Unless they force you to tithe to the church, or sit your ass in the pew, they are not forcing anything by voicing their views to their parishioners.
They are given an unlevel playing field.

So now you are for Big Government intervention on behalf of groups the which you approve. That is hypocritical, young libertarian.

How is their playing field unlevel?

How is removing the restriction on speech by religious organizations and leaders "big government"?

So the 50% of Americans who pay no federal income taxes shouldn't be able to speak politically either?

These are not individuals, not even ethnic groups or cultural groups, but these are businesses. A business should pay tax before it has a political word. Too bad, this is mute because the richest businesses that lobby government are run on government money to begin with, like charities.

Again, where does the constitution connect free speech rights to paying taxes?

It doesn't, but a condition of your tax exemption as a business is that you waive your free speech rights as a business.

Again, where is that in the constitution? The Johnson rule was always shaky on constitutional grounds. Better to be rid of it. More speech is always better speech.
Since you are no Constitutional scholar, we will skip that. But, instead, you want an unlevel playing round for churches.

I never claimed to be, but your answer indicates you don't have a response.

Again, how is the playing field "unlevel"

Trump is busting down all this NWO politcal bs. We're going to get the REAL AMERICA back and the leftist hitler loves ain't gonna like it. Oh well get use to it or get out.

Bad idea.

They should lose their tax exempt status then.

In which case, PP should lose their tax exempt status...and so should the Audubon society.

Are they religious organizations?

Yes, they are.

Are they religious organizations?

Yes, they are.

Not within the accepted definition of religion, nor have they applied for any of the special protections or rights that a religious organization can get.

I did, and you don't like it. You want big government to remove restrictions on organizations. That is Progressivism in action.

no, the question is how is the playing field unlevel? The other question is how is removing speech restrictions on Churches big government?

Try to answer the questions, if you can.

That doesn't make any sense, and you know it.

Why is the playing field unlevel?

How is removing restrictions on speech big government?

Why do you want Big Government, libertarian, to do things. That by definition is Big Government progressivism, using BG to change things politically, or socially, or culturally, or economically, etc. You are a BG progressive.

martybegan, a supposed libertarian, wants Big Government to help him out.

Shut up, you nutbar. He doesn't want big government to do anything except protect him from asshats like you, who try to use government to shut down free speech, and freedom in general.

And you do that by lying.

Which, btw, is sedition.

That's what progressivism does, kg: protect citizens from government overreach or under reach.

You don't understand what it does. Here is where you need to begin.

Marty, you will not get another answer to the unlevel playing field, which was explained to you, and you, like kg, don't listen to what you don't want to hear.
