Who's to Blame: Big Government or Big Business?

The flaw in your argument is that there is no clear line between government and big business. In many respects they are the same single power structure, especially the defense industry.

you have described liberalism or facism. Obamacare is the perfect example. Liberals love it, the govt control, and capture while conservatives being for freedom and capitalism hate it. As a typical illliterate liberal you of course have no clue what you are trying to say.

It's very unfortunate that birprat and EdwardBaiamo post messages which can be read by anyone around the world. Note to the world: Real Americans are embarrassed by these two who are not representative of real Americans.

The gov't is run by big business special interests like no other time in history. Not hard to see or figure out.

I have described how it has been since the end of WWII in every western nation. As long as rich people and corporations can buy influence they will, simple as that. In a capitalist society money is power, congressmen are bought and sold like commodities and gladly vote how they are told.

Imagine some poor middle class worker getting ahead a little. What is so ironic in the US is those with the most money complain the loudest about any program that might help out the middle class worker. Like a middle class worker getting some help is a threat or something.

While simultaneously taking advantage of every tax loophole and program meant to promote business. There can be no recovery until wages start to rise again.

Lower taxes for the rich and increase taxes for the middle class is what some want. And they say class warfare should not be a part of this whole mess

We no longer pretend to be a democratic republic, all or our representatives - from towns and cities, to state legislatures, to The Congress are bought and paid for by special interests. Thank you Chief Justice Roberts; Justices Alito, Thomas, Scalia and Kennedy for selling out the principles of our founding fathers; thank you for proving we are a nation where all men and women are born equal, and that some are more equal than others.

Do liberals really believe that corporations can't be trusted when corporations are responsible for the GDP while government only prints money? Corporations don't make the rules, government makes the rules that corporations have to follow and any loopholes that the corporations are able to utilize are created by the government. Maybe it should be worded "conservatives think the government is stupid and the government is too stupid to know it or too corrupt to care".

Horseshit.

"Horseshit", if that is your signature we finally agree.

Both are to blame the problem is the hyper partisan left will always blame big business but not government and the hyper partisan right will always blame government and not big business.

That's a synopsis of your post. In fact, it's a synopsis of all your posts.

Your post is a tautology, nothing more, much less.

Corporate Greed isn't new, it simply is no longer looked upon as an evil. "Greed is Good"; very Orwellian:
“War is peace.
Freedom is slavery.
Ignorance is strength.”
"Greed is Good"

And with a little poetic license, also from "1984": “If you want a picture of the future, imagine a black wingtip stamping on a human face—for ever.”

Orwell was prescient, he was simply 30 years early.

you obviously don't know what a tautology is.

Your hero, Hitler, killed communists and worshiped capitalists,

total illiterate liberal as always. HItler was god; he controlled industry totally!!

only a liberal would not know that! See why we say uber slow?
Hitler controlled industry for the benefit of capitalists on both sides of the Atlantic, hardly a liberal thing to do, right?

That sounds like liberalism to me. Did liberal support bailing out GM?
Rich liberals supported the bail out, just like rich conservatives like Dick, Dubya, and Hank, remember?:oops-28:

george is 100% illiterate as always not knowing that the unions supported the bailouts too so they could keep their jobs!! See why we say 100% ignorant?

Corporate Greed isn't new,.

if fact its impossible under capitalism since if you are greedy your competitor can then beat you and you go bankrupt.

Simple enough wisdom for a child to grasp, but way over the head of a typical liberal.

You are a liar, or an idiot. Every consumer has experienced Corporate Greed. Only liars or fools deny the truth of that statement. I suspect you're are both.

BTW, you're also dishonest, for my post was more that what you claimed/posted. For others, here is the post:
