Nope.... Russia is chasing NATO out of where they don't belong. For the past 10 years NATO Nations have been breaking the original compact that dates back 30 years. Crimea was taken when NATO convinced the Ukrainian puppet government to deny Putin his naval Base lease.

Ukraine has been encroached upon most likely because of recent agreements between Ukraine and NATO to establish military bases in Ukraine that include land-based rocketry pointed towards Moscow. Russia is defending itself right now. That doesn't make Putin a good guy but if you can't see this then you're just plain dumb.

It would be no different if China made an agreement with California and then suddenly started putting land-based rocketry all over the state pointed at Washington DC.

Cuba is no longer a threat to the US. Russia doesn't want to be threatened by NATO. The US doesn't want Russia to collapse our petrodollar by switching to euro's, like Saddam did. All significant oil producing countries trade their oil in USD. If Russia stops, it would hurt the USD (even more than the inflation we have now). If China stops trading in USD, because they allie with Russia, it would collapse the USD.

The solution is for NATO to stop baby sitting Ukraine and let them either repay Russia what they owe them, or let Russia have it's land back. Ukraine's government squanders every dime it gets from Russia and NATO countries. Including the US.
That's the solution. Not war.

Russia was never our ally. It had nothing in common with the Wallies except Germany as an enemy. And before Germany was Russia's enemy, it was It's ally. Germany and Russia cooperated in attacking and dismembering Poland. If Hitler hadn't turned on Russia, they probably would have allied against the Wallies. Russia took hundreds of billions in aid from the US and UK and did very little not needed for its own survival in return. Most of the casualties the Soviets suffered in WWII can be layed at the feet of Stalin and his generals. No other country fighting the Germans took anywhere near that level of casualties because they valued their soldiers and civilians lives. Without the Soviets the Wallies would still have won, it might have taken a year or so longer and been done in a different matter, but Germany had no chance of victory as long as the Wallies retained the will to fight.
