Wipe those silly grins off your faces

Doesn't matter what you think
Will a Republican Senator or Congressman jump through hoops for Trump when he is polling at 37% ??

A republican or a democrat wouldent jump through any hoops for anyone unless said politician was getting something for them selves. I know it's hard for you to get your head around being a political partizan and all but I am one of the many who think all politicians are scum. Especially the career ones. If Trump can find Democrats that are willing to work with him then I feel he should primary the republican and work with the democrat. Simple.
IMHO most republicans will drown their babies in the bathwater before asking for Dem help
If the gop is forced to work with the dems, the dems price will be a continuation of Medicaid expansion and no repeal. The reason the gop would do this would be to somehow stabilize insurance markets by keeping companies from pulling out. How they do that without more money .... I dunno. And where does that leave states like Mississippit that didn't expand Medicaid (which has been a fiscal nightmare for our one teaching hospital)? We chose not to expand on the belief that Obamacare would be repealed and states would be left on their own with expanded Medicaid role.
let's just face facts, obummerfail failed. And it would be nice for the democrats to step out and make the statement that something needs to be done. To avoid that is just acting as losers.

Contrary to Rightwing propaganda....Obamacare is not failing. It has stabilized and is quite strong in most states that took an effort to institute it

Those that are being hurt the most are the working poor in red states that fought against expanding Medicaid and setting up exchanges

Yeah those working poor had it tough, but at least they had insurance available from their employers until Bammercare put an end to that for most.

No...actually they were getting repeatedly fucked by their employers as they received fewer and fewer benefits

Good. Keep pressure on them to get the job done

because rightwingnut dumbasses who didn't know that ACA and obamacare were the same thing should be screwed over faster.

you people are idiots... serioiusly.

aren't you even a little embarrassed about being part of only 17% of the country that thinks this is ok?

you should be.

and congress certainly shouldn't be fighting to ram something down the throats of 83% of the country who don't want it.

wackos.

the affordable care act did not cut employer-based insurance. it just allowed people coverage AFTER they were no longer employed, idiota.

That would require free thought and ideas. The avrage democrat are incapable of either.

destroying the safety net for the poorest, weakest, oldest, youngest and sickest to satisfy paul ryan's demented randian dream of society is not a reason to take a hatchet to something that needs a scalpel.

Back in 2008, some gopers were of the view that the only way to make the market transparent was to have consumers purchase HC directly from providers. We all choose our individual primary care providers, and they in turn refer us to specialists. As it turns out, a surgeon bills over 10K for an arthroscopic procedure or several thousand for a CAT scan. And a patient can usually get a much lower cost if they pay directly rather than going through an insurance company. So some in the gop said Health Savings Accounts .... of course the purpose there was also just to shift the total cost of HC to individuals and cut the 1%'s taxes. This is the Paul Ryan approach.

Others were more principled in terms of the middle class. They proposed tax credits. We set an amount of normal medical utilization, and people get tax credits for that amount. That's not a deduction to just reduce taxable earnings, which is Ryan's approach. Rather, it's you show the gummit the bill, and the gummit reimburses you up to a limit. You use less, you get a little candy in the form of a slice of the savings. You use more, you get tax deduction equal to the more. Perhaps insurance providers would sell policies to cover that. Maybe even insurance providers would bargain with HC providers to get the same price individuals could negotiate.

Those more principled people were tea partied by the 1% funded folks like Jim DeMint, and guys like Bob Bennett got ousted by guys like Mike Lee.

The Dems will never agree to cutting taxes for the 1% by placing more HC cost burden on workers, and it appears the gop lacks 50 votes in the Senate.

Obamacare rewards insurance companies for how many they insure. We need to alter that to reward reduced cost.

That and medicine. I use an inhaler. It's geared towards folks with COPD. This one inhaler costs $475 bucks and users are instructed to dispose of any left overs after three months. I use about one shot three times a year, maybe 6 if allergies are bad, but I rarely use that. How do you get the price of that down to what folks can afford? Then there are the Dr.'s. ACA did none of this and this ACA tweak doesn't.

It will
Obamacare has been a huge win for Rep's. Dem's passed it then lost the House, Senate, and White House. Dem's in congress bitched at Obama, forced him to go on national tv and take the blame for it after Dem constituents at home ripped them a new one for passing it. They lost their elections anyway. Obamacare the gift that keeps on giving :eusa_dance:
It will be the downfall of the republicans if they continue with the whole charade.

I don't have to worry about the costs at all. Unlike the folks who you want to subject to paying those priced I have insurance with my employer for now.

And that brings up another point. I need those inhalers because I smoked ciggretts for 20 plus years. Now ACA says you have to pay for the damage done from my smoking. You okay with that?
