Bye, bye... evil inspired mandate

The child tax credit doesn't force you to have a child, but it penalizes you now $2000/per year in higher taxes if you don't.
What's the difference between that and the health ins. mandate?

WTF!!! The child tax credit doesn't force you to have a child...guess thats why you don't get it if you don't have a child. As far as a penalty, that's just stupid talk. So in your tiny brain, if you don't have a mortgage deduction they penalize you?

Does the mandate force you to buy healthcare, or does it simply deny you the tax credit if you don't.

Try to answer directly and honestly for once.

Have no idea what you're trying to say. Obamacare was a mandate, child tax credit is not a mandate.

The so-called mandate was nothing more than a tax break for people who chose to acquire health insurance.
Na, it was made to fail to bring in single payer. Single payer is all about total control

Loony theory. Who instructed you to post that?
Obama care fails the career politicians will want to bring in single player that way they have total control over the population

The penalty was ruled to be a tax. You are exempt from that tax if you can show you have healthcare coverage.

The child tax credit exempts you from $2000 of your taxes if you can show you have a qualifying child.

No difference.

Except for the mandate is unconstitutional

No kidding, you don't have to take a child tax credit. You did have to either have healthcare coverage or pay a penalty. Huge difference.

You progressives should just keep that shit to yourself PaY into your little pool, leave the rest of us out of your fucked up Collective.
It really does not require our participation, Because really it’s not about healthcare it’s really all about control.

You are the one that is ok with forcing others to provide a service/product that cannot be paid for. I think all your socialist talk is just to hide your true communist feelings

Na, I pay for my shit out of pocket I don’t expect some fucked up collective to pay for my shit

But yet you still support that law that mandates others to provide a service/product that cannot be paid for. So you are not only a communist you are also a hypocrite.
I have no sympathy for insurance companies, The vast majority of people never use insurance but yet insurance companies get to keep the premiums… That’s fucked up.

I am talking about doctors and Hospitals and ERs that must provide products and services knowing they will never get paid. Why are you ok with them being mandated to do that?

Because it's the right thing to do?

The overall problem here is, should healthcare be a commodity to be sold, or a public service.

Every other country decided that it should be a public service.

No difference. The mandate is a tax that everyone has to pay unless they choose to get health insurance.

Constitutional according to the Supreme Court. Unconstitutional according to lunatics on the internet.

OK Republicans....you got what you wanted

You repealed the hated mandate, but you still force insurers to cover pre-existing conditions

Insurance companies will now have to raise rates on those with insurance or else drop out of the market decreasing competition.
Without a mandate and with insurers required to cover people with pre-existing conditions, people can now wait till they become sick and then demand insurance

What do you do now Republicans?
You break it....you bought it
The concept of insurance(paying into a pool) is a fucked up one, always has been.
There is 100% chance that it will be abused 100% of the time...
Doctors have to carry malpractice insurance to protect them from frivolous lawsuits, and bat shit crazy regulations add Cost exponentially on top of everything else...
A week in the hospital costs over $100,000. Any routine procedure is over $40,000.
There is a 100 percent chance most Americans can't afford that

This is the very reason our healthcare system is going down the toilet.

We are trying to treat it as some hybrid between a commodity and a service and that cannot and will not work.

Eventually as a society we will have to choose one or the other

Thanks to frivolous lawsuits and political correctness

Fair enough. One or the other.

SO if you treat it as a public service, you do what you do with a public service, you enlist the resources from everyone to pay for it, and control costs through regulation.

or if you treat it as a commodity, you charge whatever you can for it from those who can afford it, and if they can't, fuck them.

Which one is more humane?
