Constitution? Screw the Constitution

You gotta laugh. The only time lefties worry about the Constitution, farmers and bills in the U.S. Senate is during a republican administration. Meanwhile lefties cheer when the 1st Amendment is trashed, the 2nd Amendment is under attack and the rest of the Bill of Rights is in jeopardy. Lefties never have a nice day. The DOW hovers around 26,000. the GDP is over 3%, unemployment is at a historic low and lefties worry about Global Warming.

Lol the stupid fuck of an OP says republicans shit on the constitution while blasting them for not supporting unconstitutional actions.
You cant make this shit up :lmao:
You allow the President to control the US Senate? Where the fuck is that in our Constitution.

And your defense is .... but....but...but.. Deomcrats do...?

Are in in the 8th grade or what.
Lol dumbfuck

You press the case too far. (-: I don't think any president has made law the enemy of the people like Trump has. His latest diatribe is a judge enjoining his executive plan to force asylum seekers to stay outside the US while their applications are reviewed. He then blasts a non-existent judge apparently latching onto a Hispanic name.

And the decision explicitly stated congress can pass the law Trump wants.

But congress won't change the asylum procedure

Trump is not running the Senate.

Even FDR in court packing wasn't attacking court's blocking his unilateral decisions. Rather the Court was overturning all of the New Deal legislation

Our Constitution set our form of government where we have three independent branches & a system of checks & balances.

Republicans have crumbled it up & threw it in the trash.
They have.

But, Democrats have ALSO wiped their asses with the Constitution.

Example:

"the right of the people" to commie democrats means....the National Guard....or some shit.

So, fuck off, hypocrite.

You think this started with Trump? The majority in the House or Senate sets the agenda, and the leader in either body bring to a vote what they want to.

But have dems said Judges has some anti-US bias for ruling individuals can have guns? I don't think so. And that's the difference between them and Trump.

Although with Trump, his anti-rule of law message is part of his appeal to his base. They are victims of giving too many rights to "others." The irony here is that the "rights" were given by congress and supported by both parties. Trump has to make "law" the enemy. And congress is not planning on changing the law. It's about ginning up his base. He's got to keep them in a tizzy through the next election.

Trump has his own unique riff. The problem is not McConnell or even Pelosi for him and his base.

Government is not the grantor of rights.

Our Constitution set our form of government where we have three independent branches & a system of checks & balances.

Republicans have crumbled it up & threw it in the trash.

They did it when Mitch McConnell declared that Trump dictates what bills get a vote in the US Senate. No more independent body & no more duty to of checks & balances.

McConnell did it with Obama's USSC Nominee.

Republicans in the Senate sit idly by as Trump breaks the law on the border. When he orders people to break the law & them fire them if they do not.

Republicans in the Senate sit idly by & watch Trump obstruct justice over & over.

Republicans in the Senate are so pathetic, that they sit idly by as Trump destroys the American Farmer & hurts US exporters.

Republicans in the Senate sit idly by as Trump steals children from asylum seekers & looses them in a system on concentration camps.

Republicans in the Senate sit idly by as Trump denies proper aid to Puerto Rico & our own military installations damaged by storms.

Republicans in the Senate keep confirming some of the worst, crooked people into key government positions.

This is all against what their duty is according to the Constitution.

But hey, the only parts of the US Constitution Republicans care about are the First Amendment to defend their racist & bigoted speech and the Second Amendment as an excuse to do nothing as children get gunned down in our schools.
LOL...why do I have the feeling that you have no more idea what's in the Constitution, Dave...than you do about what's in the Mueller Report?

Of course it is. Congress gave immigrants a right to remain in the US with procedural protections while amnesty applications are processed. Not all rights are constitutional. Congress can chance amnesty provisions anytime it wants to . But until then, Trump has to follow the law.

And Trump has to tell you that somehow your rights are being taken away by Mexican judges.

Its standard operating procedure for a majority party who holds a chamber of Congress to do the presidents bidding.

Trump: I'd like a vote on this
McConnell We'll vote on this
Liberals: UNCONSTITUTIONAL!!!!
Look, dickbrerath, I didn't say it was unconstitutional. The Constitution set up government with a system of checks & balances.

If they wanted the President to run the Senate, they would have given the President that power.

Show me where the Constitution was violated when the Republicans didn't give their advice and consent.
Either Marty has not read the Constitution or he thinks there was a vote in the Senate on that nominee.

Show me where advice and consent means a vote has to be held.

By not voting they were giving their advice, and withholding their consent.
