Faith won't cut the mustard when knowledge is what is required. And the Speaker hasn't promoted his religion, and yet you are criticizing him
We'll disagree. I'd rather have 1 legislator expressing his honest faith than 100 who remain silent.
Nothing fails like prayer, because it's all in Johnson's head.
Have you heard Johnson speak? He can run circles around 95% of the Congresscritters. The press? Like shooting fish in a barrel, those twits are so ignorant and corrupt.Faith won't cut the mustard when knowledge is what is required.
Nope "freedom from religion" is just opposite of what we have in this country. You want that, you'll have to go to a communist country. That's why the separation of church and state. The Founders knew that there can be no freedom of religion without freedom from religion. They learned their lessons from the delirious and violent history of UK's George and from Europe.
He is an obvious idiot among the train of idiots that don't understand what separation of church and state isNope "freedom from religion" is just opposite of what we have in this country. You want that, you'll have to go to a communist country.
Non-stamp collectors don't take you to court if you collect stamps.Atheism is the exact opposite - a lack of belief. Even if some individuals choose to embrace said lack of belief with a fervor resembling religion, it still doesn't classify it as one. Just like not collecting stamps isn't considered a hobby.
I did not know that, and where is the promise land?It always hits me as sort of sad that Moses was denied entry into the promise land.
You go too farI didn’t miss any point. And the point you seek to “make” is flatulent.
We have a first Amendment designed to keep religion out of our government and our government out of religion. It does not suggest or require that any of our representatives should be denied their own religious beliefs.
1. I think I'm defending Mike? What he said in front of a religious crowd was fine. That someone made it public and then is trying to criticize him for his beliefs is what is wrong. And the Speaker hasn't promoted his religion, and yet you are criticizing him
We'll disagree. I'd rather have 1 legislator expressing his honest faith than 100 who remain silent.
I posit that is a tiny but vocal, militant fraction of atheism.Non-stamp collectors don't take you to court if you collect stamps.
Atheists don't want ANY mention of God or religions in public spaces. That is their "religion".
He’s got no reason to lie about itI asked you first
I did not know that, and where is the promise land?
Can you tell us what Johnson allegedly said? I can't get CCs and can't have sound where I'm atBut Biden is the one who claims he never talked to Hunter about his business.
Wow, that's some level of faith you have. You put some Christians to shame!God is laughing at Johnson right now.
Love it. I have a Bible; that I've read most of it. It's a lot to retain, which is, I guess why you're supposed to read it on a regular basis.Across the Jordan.
Deuteronomy 34:1-5
Then Moses went up from the plains of Moab to Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, which is opposite Jericho, and the Lord showed him the whole land: Gilead as far as Dan, all Naphtali, the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, all the land of Judah as far as the Western Sea, the Negeb, and the Plain—that is, the valley of Jericho, the city of palm trees—as far as Zoar.
The Lord said to him, “This is the land of which I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, ‘I will give it to your descendants.’ I have let you see it with your eyes, but you shall not cross over there.”
Then Moses, the servant of the Lord, died there in the land of Moab, at the Lord’s command.
He’s got no reason to lie about it
