How Trump Happened

That is not a fact on any planet in the multiverse, not even Earth X.

Your retort is a perfect display of your ignorance…

Nope. It's a belief in actual facts, not Trump sucking "alternative facts".

No, of course you weren't.

Obama's Unsung Bipartisan Legacy | RealClearPolitics

The Washington Post article is a setup to blame the Republicans for Obama’s inadequacy in dealing with Political opponents. What opposing Party DOESN’T have it in for a newly elected President from the other party? Better yet, show us how Democrats have not had it in for Trump since day 1? It was Obama who told Republicans on day 1 to get to the back of the bus. It was Obama who felt that Republicans were enemies that needed to. E punished.

Obama could not get along with people in his own Party.

The Republicans had a meeting on the eve of Obama’s inauguration in which they said they would not support any of his agenda, period. That Obama was able to continually get at least one Republican on most of his legislation shows his outreach to Republicans.

obozo told the Republicans to go to the back of the bus

along with elections have consequences.

He locked the Republicans out of the healthcare debate....

nancy told us we would have to vote for it to see what's in it....

You are so very full of SHIT...…..

He didn’t lock Republicans out of the healthcare debate. They took themselves out of the conversation.

Not only were Republican senators deeply involved in the process up until its conclusion, but it's a cinch that the ACA might have become law months earlier if the Democrats, hoping for a bipartisan bill, hadn't spent enormous time and effort wooing GOP senators — only to find themselves gulled by false promises of cooperation. And unlike Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's semi-secret proceedings that involved only a handful of trusted colleagues, Obamacare, until the very end of the process, was open to public scrutiny.

Set the health care record straight: Republicans helped craft Obamacare

You have a very selective memory

Obama Wants Folks Who Created Mess To "Get Out Of The Way"

You can ignore the facts, it doesn’t make them go away. The claim was made that Trump has sought bipartisan support more than Obama. That narrative is patently false, as I have shown.

Which has nothing to do with anything I said. Which has more support, the Affordable Care Act or the GOP tax plan?

Sorry...I am not spending 44 minutes listening to someone I have never heard of talk about something because some faceless person on a chat forum says I should. Nor would I expect you to were the roles reversed.

Can you not sum it up?

Here's the problem with that bit of babble.

Trump got a lower percentage of votes than Romney got. He only got a slightly higher level of the vote than McCain got.

Your argument that there were a whole bunch of stupid racist white people who didn't like being called stupid racist white people is a bit silly. They were racist long before someone told them they couldn't smoke in public areas.

All that said, yes, because Hillary was so unlikable, she drove a lot of votes to third parties. Because Bill's behavior was so bad, he blunted most of the best arguments against Trump. And a lot of people didn't take the threat as seriously as we should have because we thought the system couldn't fail this bad.

But at the end of the day, in an election with no good choices, we made the best of it, Hillary got more votes, and the system still failed.

Very, well said, IMO.
