If Trump loses, expect a Republican civil war

If Harris loses, I wonder if we wont get another woman candidate for a while, but you will see a long list of people jockeying for the top. Jefferies will be the congressional leader. The platform remains virtually the same, coalitions remain in place.
Fuck you and your Hamas nonsense by the way you racist piece of shit
Jeffries will be minority leader in the House, Schumer will be minority leader in the Senate.
Here's hoping that Republicans cut spending and return to some sort of fiscal sanity.

Hamas nonsense? Supporting Palestinians is supporting Hamas dumbass.

Since when were the Old Weird Guy or Republicans, for that matter, fiscally responsible?

The problem for the Republicans at this point is not their (Trump) agenda. It's their standard-bearer.

You put somebody like Nikki Haley or Ted Cruz on the pedestal and re-brand the Trump agenda and you win.

But.. it is the fate of men, that they do not listen to reason, once they've chosen a path, or a candidate, despite warnings...

So the Republicans are going to have to get their a$$e$ kicked good-and-proper before Reality finally sinks-in...

Afterwards, Trump's family will be purged from the RNC and he will be quietly shunted off to the side and then ignored...

Once the dust settles, the Pubs will begin work on rebranding themselves and will start easing-out the worst MAGAtts...

After a cycle or two, those modern-day Know-Nothings will be largely and merely a bad memory to be quickly forgotten...
1. Agreed that Trump is less popular than the Republican policies.

2. Nikki Haley would have beaten Biden by 17-points when Trump barely won in polls. That was probably more Biden's age than populist policies.

3. There won't be an "ass-kicking" by Kamala. She is not very popular, and voters say that the US is on the "wrong-track". 2024 will be very close one way or another.

4. After Trump wins or loses the GOP will return to less controversial candidates. You think Jeb Bush has a shot in 2028? <g>

5. There will be no "rebranding" conservatism is not popular, populism is here to stay.

6. Know nothings like Kamala flunking her 1st Bar Exam, and not doing press conferences?

because both parties are only concerned with the party...and if you think im wrong, why are there so many people who call themselves independents now a days?...because they cant stand the self serving parties....that being said only a percentage of them are real independents...
Well I will tell them to do better.

True. BOTH parties spent too much and now the interest on the Debt is over $1T, more than the defense budget.

If spending is not cut, and the US dollar collapses, the shit will have officially hit the fan.
voters who "identify" with either party are ambivalent to debt. Our kids are fucked. And we stopped caring because reagan said it was good.

Hahaha

And what would that look like?

Let me guess.... voting for a candidate that gets 5%

Wow. You really showed them! 🙄
so go vote for the lessor of 2 evils again instead of demanding better people.....but remember we have the inept, incompetent people we have because of people like you...never question just follow as long as they are who the party wants....yea your really showing them.....

I expect him to pull out of the election
That’s not going to happen.

If he’s defeated, Trump will again try to overturn the will of the voters, as he did in 2020 – likely with violence.

And we can’t be sure Trump is not going to win – there’s a great deal of fear, ignorance, stupidity, racism, bigotry, misogyny, and hate in support of Trump.

He's not going to win. I expect him to pull out of the election rather than face the humiliation of another loss. Trump is a failed President who the American people voted out of office because of his failure.

20% of Republicans voted against him in the primaries. He's getting crazier and more unhinged by the day as Harris goes from one packed cheering rally to the next.
He isn't going anywhere.

Trump knows he wins this election or possibly goes to prison as an old man.

#2 is absolutely right. I would have gladly voted for Haley.
