Is Education taking a back seat to Political Correctness in our colleges?

Political correctness isn't just "taking a back seat".Political correctness in speech and policy is a major part of college education. Former left wing radical and current conservative speaker and author David Horowitz claims that every high profile conservative speaker has been the victim of assault on a college campus sometime during their careers. The message is clear. College campus administrators have no time for the sharing of ideas and ideologies and reasonable discourse. There are even certain words that students dare not utter for fear of big brother overhearing and turning them in. College campuses have become Orwell's worst nightmare.

One has no right to a 'safe place free from confusion' when in public as different ideas are being debated clearly and calmly.

Yelling and destruction of property, however, can be suppressed legally.
But seldom is. Look at the riots this past year. How many vandals went to jail? Cops were told to stand down. Instigators scream "Burn that Mother... before they burned down businesses in Ferguson. The presidents men, Holder, et.al came down to honor the dead thug!
You mean the black culture had no bitches at all about Ferguson and government?

So Horowitz lies and the the reactionary right buys. We knew that.

Hundreds of people were arrested in the riots last year. The "police being told to stand down" meme is just right wing fantasy.
Were they arrested and released with no trial or sentencing? The police were told to stand down. True.

They had a bitch about a thug fighting a police officer and getting shot for it. It should have been lesson learned for the thugs, black AND white, but it wasn't was it?

Are you saying that the bitches they had justified burning down businesses that had nothing to do with why they were burning them down?

Simple solution:

Arrest the little bastards on the least complex charge possible. One for which there's certainty of a conviction and for which penalty is not severe.

Just severe enough that when filling out a job application the well will be poisoned.

Aw, hell, they're not employable anyway. Not much market for sociologists and underwater basket weavers these days.

No, it's not the slightest bit "true". It's just right wing fantasy that you heard on the radio or read on the internet.

Your words, not mine, sunshine. You are saying they had no bitches, and this is a fucking lie.

But Jake...everyone has bitches of some kind. They don't go around destroying things to get over it.

Alternative solution:

When protests break out close down.

For the academic year.

The entire year.

No refunds.

Want to come back next year?

Good. Reapply. All of them whether they were part of the protest or not. Let a little peer pressure be applied.

First of all, I was actually present at some of the riots last year - and I know how police riot control tactics work, due to family friends in the NYPD command structure.

Not to mention, this "truth" didn't "avoid the rest of the world" - it was avoided by Movement Conservative Media Machine.

Very little of the "rest of the world" thinks like you, Jackson.

Typical excuse that Conservatives lied.

Let's see if the elections and the new government officials and the increased inclusion of minorities in LEO in great St Louis make a difference.

I didn't say anything about Conservatives "lying".

Why are you lying about what I said?

You used the word "truth" and "avoided". Since the opposite of truth is lie and you say Conservative avoided the truth, that leave only one thing. That's you saying they lied.
