You clearly haven't. The FL law bans class instruction from K-3. It doesn't have anything to do with a teacher mentioning their spouse or having a picture of their spouse on their desk. It bans classroom instruction on sexual orintation and gender ID in those grades.

I don't understand why it's a hard concept to grasp that we not teach young kids about sexuality. How about we let them learn it the old fashioned way...through their parents when they have "the talk" when they feel its appropriate, and let kids learn about this stuff like they ways have.

Our schools have no business pushing sexually oriented materials on kids. If you want to make it so people can freely choose their partners, you do it through reaching the parents, not through the schools.

There are stories on the internet where schools are changing student gender identity without parents consent, and reinforcing alternate gender choices.

Kids at those ages can be very impressionable, trying to reinforce any gender identity can confuse them.

Again, the bill is targeting books and materials being purchased with federal money that discusses those things.

It talks about "discussion" of sexual identity, transgenderism, or the other stuff. This means if you engage in a discussion, as in a conversation about those topics. If you mention your same sex spouse, unless you are engaging In the merits of same sex, or hetero relationships, they are not going to punish you.

Again, I think you all are reading more into this than what is there. You are trying to say that the bill was written so vaguely that it covers everything. I disagree. It's clear what it's intent is.
