Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., who was described in March by CNN as trump's most trusted advisor, and on the short VP list is out making sure that black voters clearly understand trump's attitude toward black voters. Mr Donalds said at an event that blacks were better off under Jim Crow. A quick unscientific survey of every black person I asked, seemed to disagree with Donald's remark. Whether blacks think they were better off of not doesn't really matter because trump's surrogate has made it clear what he thinks of the situation. Check the survey whether you agree with trump or not.

Why the phony story. You are quoting Byron Donalds and not Trump. And Byron happens to be black. Why can't blacks have their own opinion?

Fucking dishonest. He talked about the times, not living under Jim Crow

Blacks were much better off Pre LBJ's planned demolition of the black family

Coming from the "You ain't black women stocked the shelves poor kids are just as smart and talented as white kids" Party this is a sick fucking joke

It's become almost impossible to find a topic on this board that isn't related to America's racism problem in 'some' way.

But they still wonder about the reason why so many black children grow up to be criminals?

White America could never get over losing the right to keep slaves, and it looks like they never will.

Lefties are probably taking this way out of context.

Firstly in history, slavery and racism were always worldwide issues not unique to America. This is the critical error that lefty people make when discussing the topic

I guarantee Donalds is talking about the fact that today the divorce rate, the child born out of wedlock rate and the crime rate among blacks is much higher than it was in the early to middle 20th century. It’s higher for white people too, but this issue and these types of family issues affect blacks the most. Black Americans have the lowest income of any income group in America by ethnicity. No white people don’t have the highest income. Filipino Americans and Indian Americans have the highest income by ethnic group in the USA. So these situations have nothing to do with systemic racism, which is a poisonous evil lie pushed by the radical left wing.

DEI, , BLM, and critical race theory are poisonous ideologies that bring people down. Thank God that most Americans black-and-white reject this type of fanaticism.

We’ll look at how much better the American Democratic Party in the 20th century, especially during World War II.

Today most Democrats are engaging in sinister ideologies or they’re totally brainwashed…. most of them know better though. They’re saying what they’re saying to make money. And Republicans are not doing enough to stop left fanaticism or some portion of Republicans actually agree with Democrats about things like DEI or the critical race theory. It’s probably the place that a lot of Republicans are scared to counter the BLM narrative because they might lose money or lose connections to their corporate friends something like that. Obviously a lot of corporations, Hollywood and the media are blatantly on the side of left-wing radicalism, which is hurting the country. It’s hurting the working man.

How in the HELL would Donalds know? He was born in 1978. He wasn't around in the 60's to see how bad things were even then much less JimCrow. No, things were NOT better during Jim Crow.

How many of your sources had any memory of Jim Crow?

There is no white supremacy in the USA in positions of power . Most of the corporations, Hollywood, the media are blatantly on the side of left-wing radicalism.

There is a lot of pro radical feminism, pro BLM and pro far left-wing ideology from Hollywood, corporations, and the media. I believe that they are engaging in this because it makes them a lot of money and it keeps working people especially young men, weak and feminized. Like with the George Floyd protests, which saw feminized white and black men holding hands doing a candlelight vigil for somebody who once held a gun to a pregnant lady stomach. It’s complete and utter insanity which most American blacks and whites don’t want to be a part of. It’s the media and Hollywood propping the stuff up.

There’s really not a push today for people to form labor unions(union jobs represent 10% of all the jobs in the country down from 35% in the 1960s), go on strike, stand up for traditional values like we had from our grandparents. And so the result of that is the fact that today the average 25-year-old is making $50,000 per year where 40 years ago the average 25-year-old was making 85,000 per year adjusted for inflation. What more needs to be said.
