There is a theater in walking distance that shows Rocky Horror twice a month. It is great to see all the people get dressed up, sing along with the cast, throw rice when they get married...it is a super fun event.

Rocky Horror Picture Show plays at least once a month in San Francisco.

No one protests. I have yet to hear of anyone being offended by it.

There is no issue.

Well now you've met me. And I'm telling you that the group that tried to gang-rape me even brought the movie up while they were making their initial more benign advances. Like in the movie, Brad and Janet's "No!" didn't get taken seriously, and one of them had to get slammed hard against the wall of the house to figure out what "No!" meant. They actually said their intent was to convert me from hetero to gay. They knew I was a runaway, vulnerable. My "friend" whose house it was to flop at was equally troubled. There was no true support for me then so ....I was the perfect target for them.
