You've never addressed the fact that what the settlers were given was virgin prarie not even decent farmland. The vast majority went broke, or even died. You need to stop with this nonsense. I don't believe that you've ever posted anything to prove that blacks were prevented from applying for grants. The ex-slaves you are always crying about didn't have the capital to even get to the territories, let alone buy the needed farming tools, seed, animals and enough food to survive until first harvest. If they had tried you'd be accusing us of enabling the genocide of ex-slaves by sending them into a situation that they didn't have the knowledge or financial wherewithal to survive. If I remember correctly, to qualify for a grant you had to prove you had the equipment to make a go of the farm.
