It’s not a magic rebalance it’s the effect of an energized minority and an unsatisfied majority following an election. Politicians run making all kinds of promises and once elected they certainly let down a fraction of those who voted for them. So you see lack of enthusiasm from the majority party and energized enthusiasm from the minority who are angry, afraid, and wanting change.Since 1862 the President's Party loses an average of 32 seats in the House. It appears to be some sort of re-balancing that our country just seems to do consistently during midterm elections.
I argue that a focus on deranged males sharing showers with ladies was & is a hard driving force that would’ve motivated untold numbers of regular folks to make an extra effort to get to the polls & vote against democrat.
You realize that that’s what won 2016. It was not pro Trump voting from the middle as much as it was anti- democrat.
Like I said, I know hundreds of people from middle ranks who hire illegals on occasion to save a buck. I know of no situation as parallel for potential covert sympathy with dudes waving raw dick in daughters & wives faces at the public pool locker room for ladies only. It’s a pity Republicans didn’t figure this out when it mattered.
