Well I can't exactly speak for "most races". I can only speak for myself. I think diversity of opinion is good. I think fair, unbiased hiring and merit-based succession planning is good. Do I think just throwing more women and brown people into positions because they are women or brown is good? Not necessarily. Other people will have their own opinions. I can only account for my own.

In a political setting where you only have two major parties, the multitude of nutcases that inhabit the country tend to fall in one party or the other. The far left and the far right are closer to each other than the center; It's a circle, not a line. Calling the President a White Nationalist comes from the fact White Nationalists happen to support the President (for lack of any other candidate that more closely aligns with their desires) combined with throwing the age old race card (by anyone who opposes the President).
