Ben Carson Proves Once Again That He is Nuttier Than A Fruit Cake

Ignorance is your best friend. Isn't it.

Stunning ignorance by the good doctor once again. He can't let go of the slavery reference using it here and before as a reference to Obamacare and gives no quarter to those damaged by rape and incest after referring women to doctors who perform abortions and as a trustee of a foundation that donated thousand to Planned Parenthood. I hope someone can refer him to a good brain surgeon, he obviously needs one.

Dr. Ben Carson, the neurosurgeon-turned-insurgent presidential contender, compared abortion to slavery on Sunday, adding that he does not support exceptions for rape and incest when it comes to outlawing the practice.

"Think about this," he told "Meet the Press." "During slavery -- and I know that's one of those words you're not supposed to say, but I'm saying it -- during slavery, a lot of the slave owners thought that they had the right to do whatever they wanted to that slave. Anything that they chose to do. And, you know, what if the abolitionist had said, you know, 'I don't believe in slavery. I think it's wrong. But you guys do whatever you want to do'? Where would we be?"

Rising in the polls in Iowa -- with its deeply evangelical Republican caucus goers -- Carson called for overturning the Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision and only conceded that "there's room to discuss" an exception if the health of the mother was at stake. Below is the relevant transcript, pasted in full because his answers were often hard to tease out. . .

Racist much?

I called Ben Carson nuttier than a fruitcake. I don't think that is a racist statement, you do. Perhaps you can enlighten me how you came to that conclusion.
I called Obama a rotten human being & got called a racist for it.
If you dumbfucks are gonna dish it don't whine like little bitches when you receive it

Oh, so you have no logical reason, just revenge. Gotcha.
Yup. Don't like it? Whine about it some more faggot

Bull. If it were about innocent life you'd be fighting for birth control, day care, family leave, job training and education for new mothers.

ROFLMNAO!

Based upon what?

How does -'innocent life'- IN ANY WAY, so much as RELATE TO: The taking of the product of someone's else's labor to pay for your Birth Control, Day Care, Family Leave, Job Training and Education, let alone the need to 'fight for' such?

And, as always.. be specific. At least as specific as your limited intellectual means, allows.

(Again Reader... do you see how easy this is?

Remember, the KEY to defeating Leftist in debate rests in two fundamental elements:

1- Find a Leftist.

2- Get them to SPEAK!)

You took his quote out of context, and your link does not show it in context.

Here is the question Carson was asked:

CHUCK TODD:

What if somebody has an unwanted pregnancy? Should they have the right to terminate?

Here is Carson's response:

DR. BEN CARSON:

No. Think about this. During slavery-- and I know that's one of those words you're not supposed to say, but I'm saying it. During slavery, a lot of the slave owners thought that they had the right to do whatever they wanted to that slave. Anything that they chose to do. And, you know, what if the abolitionist had said, you know, "I don't believe in slavery. I think it's wrong. But you guys do whatever you want to do"? Where would we be?

The question was not about rape or incest. It was about a mother who wants to abort her child strictly out of convenience. And Carson is right to point out that the child is not a piece of property to be disposed of at will.

The right to life trumps inconvenience.

Old white Christian men are anti-choice...

Again... you're basin this upon what?

We; the Americans... recognize that a woman has A RIGHT TO CHOOSE, with whom, when and where she allows a man to insert his reproductive organ into her reproductive organ. At the point where she MAKES THAT CHOICE... she has MADE HER CHOICE TO CONCEIVE A CHILD, because THAT IS WHAT COITUS IS DESIGNED TO DO!

She could have taken the entire month allocation of BC pills, used 5 condoms, shoved 4 IUDs and taken a box of "The Morning After Pills". All of which is MEANINGLESS, with regard to her HAVING MADE THE CHOICE TO ENGAGE IN SEXUAL INTERCOURSE... the purpose of which is to CONCEIVE A CHILD.

What you're demanding is nothing short of simply separating the individual from any sense of RESPONSIBILITY.

Which is of course ... just socialism. The addled desire for an easier way. The path of CHOICE... for children and fools.

Here's the Interview... believe your Eyes and Ears:

I have seen the interview in its entirety.

Carson was being asked if being unwanted trumps the right to life.

It doesn't.

Simple as that.

If Obama was running in a pageant perhaps, fit him with a nice crown with President of the United States draped across his chest, offer a few autographs if that's important to you.

I'll take the one that can render a solid decision when confronted with a difficult issue, and ..... (here is the important part) .. be confident enough to follow through and commit to it. A leader who will see the need to protect our citizens when they are being beheaded overseas, instead of making a "stage appearance" relating to the modern day terrorist as merely like the Christians of the crusades. I just have trouble respecting a Commander-in-Chief who spends a good amount of time making television appearances, because he always feels the need to have his own ego stroked.
This President has done more to combat terrorism than his predecessors. And he did not have to invade a whole fucking nation to do so. Isis remains isolated in the desert of Iraq and Syria. Isis exists in large measure because of our idiotic invasion of Iraq and the decisions made by Bush to back a minority to rule that nation. This President faced the worst economic crisis in two generations and made the decisions that ended it and brought about the strongest recovery in the world. But, since he is a Democrat and a black one to boot, you cannot appreciate what he has done for this country.

So I am a racist because I'd prefer a president with a little more backbone to stand on his decisions and commit, with a little less need to have his ego stroked. That's what you feel the need to resort to, because you just can't reference and see past a person's skin color. So now you feel the came to this thread so you can stir up and show us more of your racist views, rather than simply discuss one's political positions.

So, I support Obama cause he is black but oppose Carson cause he is black. That make any sense to you?

Let me reiterate... I really don't see race as being this really HUGE factor in an individual, that I need to respond by calling someone a racist because that person doesn't happen to agree with my candidates policies or views. We can have a difference of opinion, but once you reduce yourself to referring to an individual's ethnic appearance, or making racist remarks, you have just completely lost the argument.
And no politician has been more vilified on the basis of his race than President Obama.

His race or his extreme left wing views that conservatives don't happen to agree with, with a president who uses executive action (as opposed to compromise) as a means to promote HIS way of things? For someone calling himself this 'Constitutional scholar', he sure doesn't know how our system of government works and the reason for its structure. Yet another issue I have with this president.

However, when I see a politician, or political extremist reducing the argument by stating to the opposing side "Well you're just racist" .. that's just someone expressing a child-like tantrum, simply because they can't get their way in support of their ideological view on an issue. This term in labeling their opponents is used so much, it's really turned into nothing more than the boy who cried wolf.

So you are not one of those who opposed him due to his race. Good for you. Your comments reveal a profound ignorance about our law and constitution and executive power. He has used executive power properly within the confines of the law and constitution. His attempts to compromise were rejected. The ACA was a compromise. It included many republican proposals. The immigration reforms he has pushed were the same ones Bush pushed and which had bipartisan support. He has been a centrist president. His policies are supported by more Americans than oppose them. The right wing republicans in congress are much further from the middle than the president.

The ACA was a compromise. It included many republican proposals.

Not a single Republican Vote was cast for obamaScare. Not a single Conservative bill, notion, thought, day dream, comment or suggestion is found ANYWHERE in obamaScare.

The Bill was shoved through the legislature by illicit means, passed without debate and not so much as ONE INDIVIDUAL THAT VOTED FOR IT, SO MUCH AS READ THE DAM' THING... .

Proving that you're simply... a lyin' fool.

Yes... if you're not against murder, you're a proponent of murder.

There literally is no middle ground.

Yes, that's what he's saying. He's saying it's not enough to just say you're opposed to killing babies or slavery. You have to act.

You support Obama because he was Democrat. You hate Carson because he is running Republican and is a successful Black doctor.

I dislike Carson because he has revealed himself as not competent to hold the job, nothing more.

That's the way a whole lot of Americans feel about Obama.

He'd still win if he were running for a third term.

He'd still get the scumbag vote.

52% of voters are " scumbags"?

Lol. Freak.[/QUOTE]

Not what I said. First, he would not get 52% of the vote this time around.

And you don't rebut what I posted. It was full of Republican ideas. Hell, it was a republican idea. Over a hundred Republican amendments were adopted. It was debated for months. Just because you were too fucking stupid then and remain that stupid is your problem.

Well, there were concepts in the bill that gopers at one time supported, but discarded. But, there was no real attempt at a compromise bill, because the acceptable and required provisions Obama set could never be agreed to by gopres.

Obama didn't have much luck with forging alliances in the Senate, which makes me wonder why the gop has any love for cruz, Rubio and Randian Paul.

There were attempts to compromise. But the right offered no alternative.

Of course, the famous line:

"We have to pass it, so we can find out what's in it." - Nancy Pelosi

All the closed door deals (remember Obama's promise of transparency on CSpan right?) , months of wasted time bogging down Congress because, as many seem to forget, Republicans couldn't stop the bill as all that was required was getting these blue dog Democrats to tag along.

IF they had all this supposed "support" from the American people that these liberals claimed they had,
(1) passing this bill wouldn't take this long,
(2) you wouldn't see Representatives in Congress being told they couldn't go back home to face their angry constituents
(3) Peosi and Reed wouldn't feel the need to threaten these blue dogs from receiving reelection support
(4) Nancy Pelosi wouldn't have lost her position as Speaker of the House to the Republicans.

Heelloooo !!!!! .... think McFly .. think !! lol
