I don't understand why Trump hired Manafort to run his campaign if he knew he was under FBI investigation.

Only the best people.

It doesn't make business, or political sense. I'm thinking he didn't know. Why would Obama tip him off? He was campaigning for Hillary!

Some things are more important the petty partisan politics.

Manafort had a residence at Trump Towers.

He also has 4 other residences, and quite a number of offices as well.

I'm sure they were tapped as well...

Actually, neither you nor I know which, if any, of Manafort's residences were tapped.

I would guess it's a lot more likely that his office or cell phones were the targets.
