They were very close...I'm sure they are happy together again . Bless.

If ever there was a case of Karma....her ex got it in full living color....how could anyone leave a wife that beautiful and 2 beautiful kids and end up with crap all over his face afterwards....LOLOLOL...classic Karma!!

How sad is that....
How sad is that....
If ever there was a case from someone dying from a broken heart, this has got to be it. I sometimes wonder how I would survive if one of my own kids died suddenly.....2016 is definately a very sad year...may they both rest in peace and God be with those left behind...the sheer sadness in all this has to be overwhelming and sad. Kinda reminds us Nicole Smith who's son died and a few weeks later she was dead....just sad.

Is Nicole Smith the one who married the VERY VERY old man? Or am I thinking of someone else?

Them was actually the good ol days......I remember when Britney Spears got her hair chopped off and regular programmed events on TV were interrupted to talk about it....first time in my life, I started to believe 24 hour news is gonna be our worst nightmare someday and low and behold, it happened!!

Debbie's husband, Eddie Fisher, left her for Elizabeth Taylor.

And.....moreover .....who are we to judge.

Bless them all three, wherever they are.

It's one after the other after the other ......it doesn't stop :(

We're entering the age of the famous person. If you have 365 really famous people being produced a year, then you'd expect one to die every day or so. While the really famous people don't number so many, there are enough that we'll now see the death of famous people all the time, simply due to the number of famous people.
Everybody's gonna die....what is really astounding is that some will be mourned by many and some, sadly will be forgotten...yet all will be remembered through the faith they had or didn't have in our Lord and savior on judgement day.

And you're using someone's death to push your religion on others.
If a person actually believes his religion, that is to be expected. To do otherwise would be not caring that people will spend eternity in the crispy place.

She has been one of my favorite actresses for decades.

RIP, beautiful lady
Mine too. She was one of the most talented Stars in Hollywood. Singing in the Rain, Tammy, The Unsinkable Molly Brown, How the West Was Won are my favorite example of her work.

I was able to see her perform live in Las Vegas with daughter Carrie. One of her funny lines was that she'd let Carrie sing, but couldn't sing " Oh my pa pa." Then recently, she performed at the isle of Capri casino here in the Quad Cities Iowa. She definately didn't have the voice or dance steps of her younger years, but she'd sing along with clips from her movies, telling stories. Of the stars she acted with. The crowd loved her.

She will be missed, but she's with her daughter. It was reported her last words were " I want to be with my Carrie."

RIP Ms Reynolds.

God...this is horrible

Debbie Reynolds was one of the biggest stars of her era and dies a day after her daughter

His name is Gene Kelly and his "Singing in the Rain" was by far the highlight of the film.

WTF?! This is getting crazy, the amount of famous people who have died this year, we still have a few days to go, so some more might die.
I think it's a matter of the high odds; there are hundreds of personalities, "famous" people and such. While it's extremely odd that a mother and daughter die within a day of each other like this, losing "famous" people should be expected to happen with regularity as we move further into the Information Age.

I think perhaps the shock of her daughter dying was too much for her heart and her entire being.
Possible. I'd heard she might have had a stroke, which could easily have been caused by the stress of losing her daughter.

Of all the deaths in 2016, this is the saddest for me.
