Yeppers. When you have no willing partner, you sometimes have to dance alone...

Not quite accurate. Obama has willing partners, however they do not wish to participate in the obscene dance he wishes to perform. Every day, we get to see the results of left wing imigration policies, and it is not a pretty picture.

We desperately need some adult leadership while we still have something worth leading.
The people who came here when the Bush family and Reagan were in power are Obama's fault as well? Remarkable.

Wow! I don't think I have mentioned anything about the people who came here, at any time, but if that is all you have, then go for it.

I don't recall seeing hundreds of children riding across Mexico on the tops of freight trains, to get to the US border, during either Reagan's or Bush's terms in office. Thousands of hungry children crossing the border. And, those are the lucky ones, the ones that didn't get raped, murdered, or sidetracked into the sex slave trade.

Obama's words, and actions created this mess, and he doesn't have a clue how to deal with it.

Can I get a side-order of fries with the Drama?

You're truly a despicable human being.. Children are crying out for help even drawing pictures and you sit in this thread making racist remarks and couldn't care less.. YOU are the posterboy of true SOCIALISM.. The kind of disregard for humanity that allows for the world's worst monsters to control people.
Socialism cares about people, Capitalism works them to death.

you're an idiot....did the USSR 'care' about people as they starved to death.....? did Mao's China 'care' about people as they starved to death....? did Castro's Cuba 'care' about people as they starved to death....? did Hugo Chavez 'care' about people as they starved to death....? all of them also had to work while they were starved to death....

of course you will now point to Europe as your 'great example' of socialism.....but if you've taken a recent look at Europe it is financially going down the drain....people there are becoming poorer and poorer.....all that so-called 'caring' is quickly disappearing.....

Didn't read the whole thing, did ya?

I have read it many times, I actually understand what it says, and there are no other powers granted to the President by the Constitution. Now, why don't you put your ass where your mouth is, and show these vast powers you claim the President has?

What is it with you guys and asses?

Specifically guy's asses?

Just blowing smoke like a good little socialist, and now you want to change the subject. Par for the course.

Yes. It would be nice to clear out the never compromise my way or highway types from congress.

Compromise is a two way street. You know that, but it doesn't suit your argument, so you just ignore it. Those evil Republicans won't let Obama have his own way, and that brings tears to your eyes.

You obviously haven't been paying attention.

President Obama's compromised much more than his Republican predecessors.

And on almost everything.

Even before President Obama assumed the Presidency, Republicans decided that he would be a one term President and they would do everything they could to thwart his Administration. They were even very honest about it. It's the first time in history that the Senate leader in the opposition party has said to the nation that the number one goal of the party was to get the President out of office. What they have done is basically without precedence.

They have the most filibusters in history, They've shut down the government. They've backed out of almost each and every deal they've made with him. And they've been openly talking about impeachment.

What compromise?

Is your idea of compromise "Fuck You, We Won!!!"

"Get in the back of the bus cuz I'm driving this thing over a cliff whether you like it or not!!!"

And if Obama does indeed so flagrantly violate the Constitution and take it upon himself to enact immigration reform via executive order, then he will certainly deserve to be impeached and removed from office.

Do you people even understand why the balance of powers and the three branches of government are so important? Or do you just not mind having an emperor as long as he enacts policies that you like?

I mean, this is just incredible. It's downright un-American.

If Obama would agree to some sane, rational immigration reform provisions--like ensuring the border is sealed before we take steps to legalize illegals, like cracking down on the hiring of illegals, and like requiring illegals to go to the back of the legal immigration line and learn English while they work their way toward citizenship--he would get a deal done very quickly.

Most Americans are willing to grant some kind of pathway to citizenship for the illegals who are already here, but first they want the insanity at the border stopped; they want to see our existing employment laws enforced; and they want some reasonable conditions for getting citizenship, such as learning English and going to the back of the legal immigration line. The problem is that Obama wants open borders and wants to make illegals citizens quickly and easily. That's the problem.

Reform is just a fancy way of describing chaos.

You really like it when your government sells military grade weapons to Mexican drug cartels, guts the military in the middle of massive conflicts overseas, declining standards of living, income stagnation, runaway inflation, the IRS illegally targeting Obama's political enemies, destroying hard drives to hide the evidence of this, unleashes the worst rollout of a government program in our history, shuts down the government, but only the parts that run national parks and military memorials, let's the VA go to shit because he hates all American military veterans anyway.

It's all good as long as he continues to patronize you. He could stomp a basket full of puppies to death on live television and you're still supporting him.

Problem with your argument is the Dems never have tried to pass reforms. All they'be done is encourage illegals to break in. The GOP is the only I se trying to pass something that will work, but they want seal the borders first. It's always been an option, but the Dems refuse to stop the flow of new illegals coming over the border.

Yeppers. When you have no willing partner, you sometimes have to dance alone...

So you support the President breaking the law?
Of course they do - anything that Dear Leader wants, they're all for it...

( God Save the Republic )

Good for him. It is well past time to quit wasting money and time to placate the right's xenophobia.

Wanting the laws enforced is not "xenophobia".
Quit tossing out the race card...it expired a long time ago.

Chaos is what we have now

Over ten million who have no legal status, who work and pay no taxes, who we spend millions trying to round up

Common sense is giving them guest worker status, make them pay taxes, give a path to citizenship

Keep blocking it Republicans

No.. not when you do not have the constitutionally granted power to do so

My God.. you lefties are so far up Obama's ass, you might as well marry his small intestine
It has nothing to do with Obama. The role and powers of the Executive Branch were never clearly stated, on purpose. Even the Founders weren't sure what the hell he might actually need to do, so they left it as an open issue.

Wow, this is an example of the ignorant left who doesn't have the first damn clue about the Separation of Powers and what powers are designated to the Executive that are CLEARLY defined. Try again liar.

I noticed you've chosen not to post them? Just bitch and whine.

Executive Powers
Within the executive branch itself, the president has broad powers to manage national affairs and the workings of the federal government. The president can issue rules, regulations and instructions called executive orders, which have the binding force of law upon federal agencies but do not require congressional approval. As commander-in-chief of the armed forces of the United States, the president may also call into federal service the state units of the National Guard. In times of war or national emergency, the Congress may grant the president even broader powers to manage the national economy and protect the security of the United States.

Legislative Powers
Despite the constitutional provision that “all legislative powers” shall be vested in the Congress, the president, as the chief formulator of public policy, has a major legislative role. The president can veto any bill passed by Congress and, unless two-thirds of the members of each house vote to override the veto, the bill does not become law.

Judicial Powers
Among the president’s constitutional powers is that of appointing important public officials. Presidential nomination of federal judges, including members of the Supreme Court, is subject to confirmation by the Senate. Another significant power is that of granting a full or conditional pardon to anyone convicted of breaking a federal law — except in a case of impeachment. The pardoning power has come to embrace the power to shorten prison terms and reduce fines.

Powers in Foreign Affairs
Under the Constitution, the president is the federal official primarily responsible for the relations of the United States with foreign nations. The president appoints ambassadors, ministers and consuls — subject to confirmation by the Senate — and receives foreign ambassadors and other public officials. With the secretary of state, the president manages all official contacts with foreign governments. On occasion, the president may personally participate in summit conferences where chiefs of state meet for direct consultation.

It's US History, I didn't make it up, but, show us these Clearly Defined powers? We are all very interested...

The only thing you are interested in is getting a reach-around from Barrack. Enjoy the ride.
