Ed Snowden is a traitor

I gotta hand it to you guys trying too educate poo bitch. The density between his ears is like a black hole of ignorance. It can't be penetrated.

I will say I don't like that he ran off to Russia, but considering the alternative was prison I can't judge him too harshly.

It's too bad the republicrat party facilitated this behavior, now they're unable to mount an effective case without falling on the sword themselves.

All freedom lovers hide behind the protection of oppressive governments, right?

Snowden is a wimp. He knows even more information would come out if he were to go to trial - but he's more interested in saving his own hide.

You have no evidence with which to base that assertion. Not that this is shocking to anyone who reads your drivel.

Yes, even freedom lovers can hide behind oppressive governments, considering it isn't that government currently trying to take away his freedom. If Obama was threatening me with prison, and Putin was offering me a place to stay, you can bet your ass I'd stay in Russia.

I had no idea the communists passed the espionage act.

Well now you know. Go forth and sin no more.

Wilson was a communist?

Yes, indeed.

Wilson's Secret Police

By Murray N. Rothbard

America's entry into World War I was marked by a system of repression of dissent and civil liberties unprecedented our history. The repression ranged from the jailing of thousands of critics of the war, most notably Socialist leader Eugene Debs, to banning the playing of Beethoven (a Hun), changing the name of sauerkraut to Liberty cabbage, and seeking to prohibit the teaching of the German language in the public schools ("Speech of Hated Hun Forbidden," was how the press saw one such triumph). Leading the nationwide assault was the federal government; the executive branch also orchestrated councils and organizations on the state and local level, and gave official sanction to vigilante activities of superpatriots engaging in surveillance of their neighbors..."

Are you suggesting he wouldn't put on a defense?

Doubt it.

He forfeited his rights to freedom when he wilfully violated U.S. law.

No he didn't. He had no obligation to remain quiet about unconstitutional behavior. Like any other agent of the State who exposes crimes, he is exonerated. The government is the one in violation of the law here. Of course that must really sting a Statist like you to the core.

He can't be exonerated of a crime he hasn't been been tried for.

Can you show me where it is a crime for the Attorney General to charge someone with a crime?

Did Ed Snowden just happen to stumble across information he felt like the public needed to know?

"My position with Booz Allen Hamilton granted me access to lists of machines all over the world the NSA hacked," he told the Post on June 12. "That is why I accepted that position about three months ago."

Doesn't sound like it to me! Sounds like he sought out the job with the intent all along of violating his security agreement and U.S. law. That's how SPIES behave - not whistle blowers.

who did he spy for?

and if he was a spy, why did he go public?

those arent the actions of a spy

If by "freedom lover" you mean pussy who doesn't want to face the consequences of his own actions.

The consequences would be the same as for Bradley Manning. A kangaroo court.

"Congratulations. We dropped the most serious charge. Now you are only facing 60 years." :eusa_shifty:

What are you babbling about?

Definition of EXONERATE
1: to relieve of a responsibility, obligation, or hardship
2: to clear from accusation or blame

Can you show me where i stated it was a crime for the AG to charge someone witha crime? Jesus you're a dumb fucker, arentcha. And you claimed to have a doctorate in physics??

I should say I at first admired Snowden. Although I've always thought he should pay for his crimes, I was looking forward to a trial where Snowden would get to plead his case to a jury, who might actually decide to let him off. Since he has instead chosen to be a pussy and hide out with dictators, I have no admiration of him.

Its a "kangaroo court" because you don't like the verdict?

He doesn't have to have spied FOR anyone.

Under your narrow definition of the word "spy" maybe.
