How do you plan on stopping this crisis that is going on right now?
Trump is causing it to be worse, by shutting down the border entry points to where only a few refugee seekers are allowed through a day... the courts are not manned with enough Immigration judges to hear their asylum seeking cases.... causing a years wait, for them to have their day in court.... which is the LAW for asylum seekers.
this is forcing them to cross over illegally by the masses, and over loading our border patrol and keeping them from doing their jobs in catching illegals and drug dealers and human traffickers....
The law states on asylum seekers, (not illegal Mexicans crossing) that once they set a single foot on American soil and are seeking asylum, they HAVE TO BE GIVEN a court hearing to hear their case....
so they are crossing any which way they can.
If the border crossing points were manned, and the Immigration courts were manned so that it takes only a few weeks instead of 6 months to a year to be heard by a Judge, we would NOT have this major problem.
And if the damn State department would DO THEIR JOBS and get the heck down to these Central American countries and work to alleviate the problem down there, this crisis would have an end in sight....
But noooooooooo, Trump WANTS them to be forced to cross outside of the legal border crossings so he can make this in to his phony National emergency...
