I fail to see the connection between manufacturing jobs being sent overseas and needing fewer teachers, police, public works, state and federal employees

the money to pay government employees comes from tax collections, when american jobs are exported tax collections go down.

we are currently borrowing 40% of what the government spends. the country is 17 trillion in debt. this is insane fiscal policy.

No one said there aren't legitimate government functions. Thing is that we have too many bureaucrats and too much waste, abuse and general corruption.

We do need to streamline things instead of having so many people in charge of every aspect of our lives.

There is no accountability anymore.
