It is good for the country. It is only bad to those too stupid to understand that the 11 million here without permission are a net positive to our economy. Their contribution to the economy in taxes paid and economic activity far exceeds any cost. Rounding up and deporting would cost billions in direct expenses and billions more in lost taxes and reduced economic activity. It would damage the economies of the border states.

With both conservatives and democrats more moderate since the early 30s until the 1970s. With republicans beggining a unbroken surge toward conservative extremes in the 1980s. And now are more extreme than any republicans on record.

This degree of political extremism isn't 'traditional conservative'. Its unprecedented in its polarization.
