Giovanni Gentile who described himself as 'the philosopher of Fascism' ghostwrote A Doctrine of Fascism for Benito Mussolini. The quote is published under Mussolini's name in the Enciclopedia Italiana, but probably written by the Fascist philosopher/thinker Giovanni Gentile.
