Report: DOJ Readies Assange Prosecution

Hey genius... almost every one of his kids work in the government.

You meant to say that Ivanka and Jared DONATE their time on behalf of the country. Can you imagine Chelsea working for free? Yea, neither can I.

Oh me, oh my, how gracious of those billionare kids to not take a government salary, no idea how they can possibly afford such endeavors if not by peddling influence.

Assange doesn't have a security clearance, nor did he sign a disclosure agreement, so there's no comparison. He's not even a U.S. citizen. Nor has he ever even been in the USA.

It's hilarious to watch you attack the guy who's only "crime" is exposing to lying douchebags.

His crime is dealing in stolen merchandise.

Ironic to watch you defend such actions.

Since no money changed hands, that's obviously false.

That does not make the merchandise any less stolen.

I am a bit surprised to see you fight against this, it is your saviors DOJ doing it after all.

I just made a calendar entry for the first time you disagreed with Trump.

Why would anyone want to protect lying criminal politicians?

I guess a statist would.

Either you obey the rule of law or you do not.

You apparently don’t know what the rule of law means, because it certainly doesn’t apply to what Assange did.

He was freely given information which he published. He is a member of the press. If this is illegal, well then George Orwell here we come.

Looks like it's Assange and Stone's "turn in the barrel" now

And just yesterday I was freely given a Porsche that for some reason looks alot like the one my nieghbor reported stolen in a burgulary.

There's no evidence the Russians stole it, and the term "foreign adversary" is meaningless. Russia is not officially an enemy of the United States, any more than France is.

Giving you your neighbor's Porsche would deprive your neighbor or its use. No one is being deprived of the use of the information Assange published.

What "deal" did he make?

The deal of accepting known stolen merchandise.

Once again, if I give you a car and tell you I stole it, and you accept it knowing that I stole it...you are guilty of a crime.

A "deal" involves an exchange of money, a quid pro quo. Manning gave the information to Assange, sans anything in return.

Tell that to the police when you are caught driving the stolen car..."well yeah, I knew it was stolen but I did not pay for it so it is all cool".

You couldn't care less whether they actually broke any laws.

You couldn't care less whether they actually broke any laws.

All that matters is they helped your side, nothing else matters to you.

You should build a little shrine to Snowden!
"My side" is freedom. Yes, I am glad they helped my side.

You cannot have freedom if people like you choose to ignore the rule of law.
