This Just In From KABC News In Los Angeles, for reasons unknown, trillions of cockroaches have vanished from California, speculations are that they all crawled south over the border to Mexico. Mexico restaurants have been reporting that over the last 3 months of an 100% increase of cockroaches invading their restaurants. We can only speculate that not only have millions of residents escaped California, so have 95% of the roaches.

I love coming to California, but every time I do recently, rich guys tell me that they're leaving for Texas or Florida. Recent tax hikes have increased the highest marginal rate to 57% and that seems to be a breaking point. Apparently, Sacramento is worried enough that they're considering a 10% exit tax for those who leave the state. I talked to one guy last night who has already moved as much as he could out of the state in anticipation of this exit tax.

So, if you're a rich guy, and you don't want the state taking everything you work for, we in Florida welcome and appreciate you.

Rick Perry is trying to get them to come to here. I personally think that's a bad idea.

Why would you want a group of people that fucked up their current state to come to your state just to fuck it up too?

The last time my Wife and I visited our friends, we saw a car with a bumper sticker that read "California People GO HOME!!"

That's why I LOVE living in Montana. I have 100 acres of land, a nice house and, as an added bonus, I'm probably the ONLY Black guy here!!!

Those idiots in California pay $550,000 for a 1200 square foot house nowhere near the beach. I paid about half of that for my land and a house with 2500 square feet and a gorgeous view of the most beautiful mountains on earth.

Just saw the reports of the riot that erupted at CSU Fort Collins last night after Cops asked partiers to "go home" after neighbors complained about loud music. Apparently once the music was turned off, the 200 or so "students" began throwing bottles, rocks and calling police "pigs".

The police had to resort to tear gas and TASERS to disperse the crowd. Dozens of arrests were made.

Yeah, I want to live there.....

Truthmatters is, to some extent, right. CA is not expensive because of high taxes. It's expensive because a lot of people want to live there and there are natural barriers which inhibits development.

California is spectacularly beautiful. It has two world-class cities. It is has developed the preeminent centers in both technology and entertainment. The critical masses in those two vital industries will exist for a long time.

However, the state financial structure in California is unstable. It's finances are totally fucked up. It relies heavily on financing it's bloated public sector by taxing the rich and capital gains from the stock market. The average Californian doesn't want to pay taxes, so they've off-loaded it onto the rich and upper middle class. Now, the rich are considering leaving. That has created an untenable situation.

California will balance their budget next year, or come close to it. Whether it balances it's budget 3-4 years from now remains to be seen. It's tax and spending structure threatens the golden goose on which it relies.

no one is against paying taxes Toro.....its being against being taxed for every dam thing you do.....and if they cant tax you they put a fee on it......and the same people in Sacramento who have been screwing up the states finances are the ones asking for more......Truth the big proud Californian would not answer my question about the people who have lived and worked here all their lives,but now by retiring they cant afford to live here.....that is pretty dam sad and should embarrass this State......and the "leaders" are not doing a dam thing about it.....you don't even hear them talking about it....

I spent 15 years in L.A. I lived in Westwood, Beverly Hills, Miracle mile and right near the Beverly Center. The city is dirty as hell, everyone is pissed off and its expensive as hell. If you are in your 40's and 50's and still living in an apartment with roommates its nothing out of the ordinary. Its the norm. If you are a multi millionaire you will live a good life there, other than that you are just another slub on the treadmill just getting by. The only thing free is the air you breathe, which is polluted.

And 30 years ago it was eden. What happened? Mexican immigration and liberal socialism.
