That's not in their purview. At all.

And openly politicalThe SC can't step into a state criminal case, unless constitutional matters are involved.
And in this case, they're not.
That, of course, won't stop the SC from pulling one out of their ass. Most of the nation now correctly classifies this SC as being hopelessly corrupt.
Conservative Justices can be very hurried (when it’s in their interest) and VERY slow when THAT is in there interest (Judge Canon)I seem to remember a certain presidential election where the emergency appeal took hours. In fact, the court gave up a Saturday to come down with a decision. Do you recall the term "hanging chad"?
Falsifying business records in the first degree is a STATE statute jackassThe "State" charged Trump with a "Federal" crime.

Yeah, a book keeping error.........Hillary and Obama did the same fucking thing and got fined, but Orange Man BAD gets a convoluted felony charge from a state prosecutor for a federal misdemeanor.Falsifying business records in the first degree is a STATE statute jackass

They didn't. In order for the State charges be upgraded to a felony, the act had to be done to cover another crime. That other crime was Federal, but it was not prosecuted.Since, in order to prosecute Trump, Bragg had to take the state and step into a federal case.
President can't pardon State sentences.a lawyer stated,
"Trump could seek to stay the execution of any sentence pending appeal, meaning that he wouldn't have to start serving the sentence until an appeals court makes a decision, which is not uncommon in white collar cases in New York federal courts, Horwitz said. The move could delay any jail time until the election — or even beyond."
Trump cannot pardon himself, but should he get ill and and hand over power for a few days... his vice-presidnet can indeed pardon him.
It was prosecuted. Cohen was convicted. They didn't. In order for the State charges be upgraded to a felony, the act had to be done to cover another crime. That other crime was Federal, but it was not prosecuted.
Never mind how much money they raised, it's not any of your concern. Just pretend for the sake of Orange Man Bad that they raised no money at all. Go back to sleep, you don't need to worry about anything, we got this.Who is that according to? The Trumps?
A warning is a vlaid outcome of being caught speeding.People are above the law every day. EVERY TIME you get pulled over for going 10 mph and just get a verbal warning you are "above the law". Every time you don't get prosecuted for snipping the tag off your mattress or hair dryer you are "above the law"
This isn't how it works. You would think that someone wanting to be president would understand this.
Someone has to take the case to the courts. They don't just step in.
But I believe Trump does know this. 1 he likes to play people. 2. He's too lazy to do it himself. 3. It costs money.
No, they didn't. The underlying crime that raised the charge to the level of a felony was a Federal crime. But that's not what the prosecution was about. The "State" charged Trump with a "Federal" crime.

Correct. But the Trump trial did not touch the Federal crime. It used it to raise the charge to felony. It was prosecuted. Cohen was convicted.
Covering up Cohen’s crime elevated it to first degree
Actually, US Legal History is replete with examples where the Supreme Court just "steps in".
When it impacts a national election they do. All sorts of precedencies have been violated with this case.
Trump had attempted to make the argument that federal law preempted state law before U.S. District Judge Alvin Hellerstein. This occurred nearly a year ago.Bragg and yourself are using![]()

I was approaching this from a purely strategic perspective.
I concede your point, Good Sir.
