Do they want our schools filled with gangster punks that shouldn't even be in our nation? If there is one brave lib on this board that can answer these questions I will be surprised as hell.

... his policy prescriptions are completely divorced from reality ...

... and, his attempt to play on peoples fears and emotions and to their worst natures is craven and cynical ...

Which policies are you referring to? YOU have yet to make any kind of point whatsoever.

How is he playing on people's fears? Who is to say he doesn't share those fears?

None of his policies make sense in the reality base world, but let's focus on the three biggies ...

1) Healthcare - he's promised that Obamacare will be replaced with something "better" and no one will lose their coverage. Last night he floated the old "tax credits" plan. Under this plan, 30% would lose their coverage in Medicaid expansion states and 50% in non-Medicaid expansion states. Big fail.

2) the Budget - he had the temerity to criticize Obama's fiscal irresponsibility, but then went on to tick off his own list of budget busting goodies, including "massive" tax cuts, huge increases in defense spending, plus the wall ... bear in mind that he has to get Congress to sign off on this and has promised to make all of this happen without touching people's retirement security. This simply does not add up. Big fail.

3) Foreign Policy - he proclaimed, "our allies will find that America is once again ready to lead", but wants to expand our nuclear arsenal, slash the State Department budget by 37%, and build a border wall. These actions will not make America stronger, they will leave us isolated and ultimately more vulnerable. Big fail.

And, don't even get me started on his astounding hypocrisy on the environment and women's health.

Reagan started at 7.5 and ended at 5.4

Okay, so there have been three Republican presidents to finish a term since 1980 and two of them have started with low numbers and ended high, Reagan started high and ended lowish, though having had the highest amount of unemployment for a post WW2 president.

What are the chances that if other "job creating presidents" end up not having jobs that Trump will do the same?

Take enough workers out of the labor force and you can do wonders with a fictitious unemployment rate, can't you?

1. WORKERS PRODUCE MORE BUT THE GAINS GO TO BUSINESS.

Over the past 63 years worker productivity has grown by 2.0% per year.

But after 1980, workers received a smaller share every year. Labor’s share of income (1992 = 100%):

1950 = 101%
1960 = 105%
1970 = 105%
1980 = 105% – Reagan
1990 = 100%
2000 = 96%
2007 = 92%

A 13% drop since 1980

2. THE TOP 10% GET A LARGER SHARE.

Share of National Income going to Top 10%:

1950 = 35%
1960 = 34%
1970 = 34%
1980 = 34% – Reagan
1990 = 40%
2000 = 47%
2007 = 50%

An increase of 16% since Reagan.

3. WORKERS COMPENSATED FOR THE LOSS OF INCOME BY SPENDING THEIR SAVINGS.

The savings Rose up to Reagan and fell during and after.
