Trump to spend 7th consecutive weekend at Trump-branded property, at enormous cost to taxpayers

Do you consider spending the weekend at your home a vacation?

Not sure how many times people need to be told this because it is common sense... but the White House IS HIS HOME and base of operations while President. It's been that way for all the Presidents before him since the White House was built. It is equipped and set up specifically for the use and security of the President... secret service are stationed there and so is all the operational needs. There is a reason why it cost EXTRA for him to go off somewhere else.

Someone else already pointed out that since becoming President Trump has spent more time at Mar-a-Lago that he did when he just ran Trump Inc. I'd like to see just how many weekends a year Trump visits Mar-A-Lago normally.

Blah blah blah blah. The White House is not the only home of a President. If Trump wishes to go to Mar a Lago, that's his business.

That's always the answer partisan hacks give when they know they've lost the argument, and no as long as tax payers are paying for his trips, it isn't his business.

Who pays for any president's trips? Presidents are not prisoners. Going home is something everyone has the right to do. It's far different than jet setting around the world on exotic vacations on the taxpayer dollar.

When you run for President you KNOW what kind of life you are getting into and that means giving up certain freedoms. When Michelle Obama did Carpool Karaoke she said she hadn't ridden in the front seat of a car in 8 years and been able to pick the music.
