They have thousands of helicopters that can deliver much needed supplies

The study is based on perceived increases in mortality rates after the hurricane. It does not attribute individual deaths to the storm or not.

And guess what? natural disasters increase death rates, both through overt actions and decreased services/increased hardships.

So were you expecting the government to swoop in and restore everything to 100% right away?
