Half of Bay Area residents want to leave

The most important and desirable cities in the world all have sky-high home prices - New York, London, Paris, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Shanghai, Los Angeles, Vancouver, Toronto, Sydney, etc.

Unimportant places where nobody wants to live have low housing prices.

That's how the market works.

How about the vids of all the homeless people, theDoctorisIn? Are they real or fake?

I'm not going to bother responding to you anymore, because it's clear that it's an utter waste of time. You're not understanding what I'm saying, and I don't have the energy to educate you.

Why don't you just whine a bunch about how I'm not as good as Coyote, and we can call it a day?

They create their hell via the ballot booth and then they want to run away....they should be forced to remain in the hell hole they created....

Did you read the article? People want to leave because it's too expensive.

If it's "hell", why are real estate prices so high?

he only sees what he wants to see
San Francisco is a socialist world of piss and shit... fact

got news for you,so is the whole country america.:abgg2q.jpg:

What would you consider a "desirable" place, that doesn't have ridiculous home prices ?

In the aggregate, "desirability" is measured by real estate prices.

It's supply and demand.

If nobody wanted to live there, then home prices would be lower.

Conservatives used to understand this very basic concept of supply and demand.

While I do like her more, I was hoping to get a better understanding of why you still defend liberal policies after seeing the hardships they create.

It’s not uncommon for two people to see things differently.
While you might accept everything that’s been happening under liberals, I’m seeing the destruction of a city that has a lot of potential.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you've never been to San Francisco- or if you have, it was long enough ago that you have little memory of it?

This is where the cognitive dissonance is coming from: The only part of SF that you're "seeing" is what you've been fed by conservative media. From that, you think you see a city being "destroyed" - but in reality, San Francisco is a vibrant, prospering city with a strong economy and some of the most sought-after real estate in the country.

I can understand you not being able to articulate a reason for defending liberals, theDoctorisIn. Many psych patients I’ve talked with have the same problem.
They know they have crazy thoughts and feelings, but can’t explain why.

I hope we can chat again sometime. :)

There are also degrees of tolerance for shittyness. What some people see as being great, others see as being a shithole.

I live in a quiet waterfront town that attracts a lot of visitors during the summer. Visiting a place like SF isn’t on my bucket list. lol

The last city I visited was DC. I was invited by a small group of nurses who didn’t feel safe going by themselves.
After turning down the invitation, my boss pulled me aside and said I would be paid.

We had an awesome time. :)
