First of all armed insurrection against the Federal Government and Constitution of United States would be smashed by the US military and the federal law enforcement officers and agents who swear to uphold and protect the Constitution of the United States if America.

So Trumpo has just suggested a threat of violence to be committed against the United States since impeachment of the sitting president is a legal remedy set forth in the Constitution itself.

I’m not sure the majority of Americans are outgunned since the measly 33% known as deplorables who would take up arms against the US government and their unarmed fellow citizens (as you suggest) won’t have law enforcement and US military on their side.

If you have knowledge that the US military is gearing up to overthrow Congress in order to protect Trumpo and his lying thieving crime family I’m pretty sure Congress needs to start looking into that first prior to impeachment.

You win the election in 2020 in this scenario, and Democrats are back in charge. But what happens when the Republicans win the Congress again? And they will. Can they then just Impeach the Democratic President because they don’t like him? Apparently so. Impeachment does not mean removal. Removal from office only happens through a Senate vote by 2/3s majority. Senate is control by Republicans, so removal from office is unlikely by those means.

If a decent sized majority of voters express disgust with Trump if he is convincingly accused (in the House) with hard and easily discernible evidence, then all Senators will find the political necessity to put country over party and vote to convict.

They will not be able to ignore hard evidence by approving an obvious lawbreaker to remain as president. Money laundering tied with Russian oligarchs and tax fraud and conflict of interest would be plenty tough for s Senators to excuse.

When Cohen goes to prison for following Trumpo’s direction to commit a crime then most Americans will wonder why it is that Trumpo and any other’s high up in the Trump Organization are not found guilty of the same exact crime.

Are Senators going to set a precedent that President Trumpo is above the law.

Excuse me, who was the lawyer in that situation, you know the one that set up the corporation? Even IF Trump told him to do something illegal, it was Cohen's sworn duty as an officer of the court, not to do it. But if you bother to read the election laws, an expenditure that benefits a candidate personally, even if it benefits him professionally is not a legitimate campaign expense. If they had reported it as a campaign expense and used campaign funds, you commies would be going after him for using campaign money for personal benefit. So either way he couldn't be right. Try looking up the law on dual benefit expenses.

Also I don't think Trump was involved in establishing AMI, they were an established media company that consistently bought rights to stories. It was their choice not to run the story. Do you have any evidence Trump reimbursed them for their expenses in acquiring the story? I haven't seen any, but even if he did, it would still be a dual benefit expense and not eligible for a campaign expense. And FYI, I spoke to the FEC today and they don't do criminal investigations, only civil. So feel free to pin your hopes on dual benefit expenses, I think you'll be disappointed.
