Voting Republican this term may end up changing the US Constitution to help the Far Right ideas

Unfortunately you seem to have a very limited view of women, Its sad because Western woman are diverse and interesting on every level
Diversion appearance, background, etcā€¦ are wonderful things. Diversity of Thought is the root of almost every Evil in the world. Itā€™s not the people I hateā€¦ itā€™s what they believe in that disgusts me.
And Hate keeps a narrow mind locked.
Hatred brings both Strength and Caution, both of which are key elements of SAFETY.

Much of the income is dark money, with the origins hidden. CMD has managed to identify some key donors ā€“ among them the Mercer Family Foundation set up by reclusive hedge fund manager Robert Mercer, and a couple of groups run by Leonard Leo, the mastermind behind the rightwing land grab in the federal courts.

More than $1m (Ā£880,265) has also been donated in the form of Bitcoin.

The attraction to these groups and donors of pursuing a states route to rewriting the US constitution is easily explained. Over the past 12 years, since the eruption of the Tea Party in 2010, Republican activists have deployed extreme partisan gerrymandering to pull off an extraordinary takeover of state legislatures.

In 2010, Republicans controlled both chambers of just 14 state legislatures. Today, that number stands at 31.

ā€œRepublicans are near the high watermark in terms of their political control in the states, and thatā€™s why the pro-Trump rightwing of the party is increasingly embracing the constitutional convention strategy,ā€ said Arn Pearson, CMDā€™s executive director.

Should a convention be achieved, the plan would be to give states one vote each. There is no legal or historical basis for such an arrangement but its appeal is self-evident.

This is serious. The Far Right are basically religious extremists and others with extremists views to change the politics of the US to the way they want it, keeping all other Parties from possibly ever achieving the passing of Human and Civil Rights or the Presidency again.

Voting for the Republicans thinking they will improve people's economy, etc, is only giving them the tools to achieve all of their goals.

Voting in 2022, and possibly in 2024, for economic reasons only, is not the way the voters will hopefully go.

Without our Human and Civil Rights in place by law, the economic costs do become higher to most people who cannot afford paying certain health issues, etc. Discriminations of all kinds, Racism, Homophobia, and many other forms only grow.
----------------------------------------------
Since Trump took office in January 2017, his administration has worked aggressively to turn back the clock on our nationā€™s civil and human rights progress. Hereā€™s how.

------------------------------------------------

Do the proper research. There is still time before November 8.

Please, do not vote only based on economy, inflation and crime, which Republicans are allegedly said to be good at. Think about where voting Republican could possibly lead this country into in a few years.

There are a lot of Billionaires and others who want the Republicans in power, so that they will continue to do what they are used to doing, which is not care about the population, about climate change, people's health, voting rights, etc.

Republicans want an end to Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid. Can anyone afford to not have any of those if they need it, as the first two they receive them by right after a certain age?

Republicans, the PARTY which TAKES, and TAKES AWAY from the population. And give mostly to those who already have a lot of everything.

Think, before voting. Thank you.

LMAO. If this isn't one of the worst Fear Mongering hate filled lying propagandist rants I have ever seen you waste our time with, I don't know what is. Spam The Forum Much?

Will be a one issue voter this midterm. Social Security. Looked at the past Republican pushes to reduce both SS AND MEDICARE. Looking at the policy's & talking points put out by Republicans and there committee policy's for the future. Anyone over 50 or on SS SHOULD be looking at these REAL changes ( not the propaganda talking points) THIS IS A VERY BAD DEAL.
Looking at the deficit and knowing there is a Democrat as President, I want Republicans so they can offset each other. They canā€™t do anything to mess with Medicare or SSI because Biden would veto it.

When have Republicans achieved a balanced budget?

Fact Check: Who was president the last time the budget was balanced?

- The U.S. government suffered budget deficits every year from 1970 through 1997.
- Democrat Bill Clinton was president in 1998, when the government finally recorded a surplus.
- There also were budget surpluses in 1999, 2000 and in 2001. 2001 was the last year the Clinton administration proposed the budget.
- Republican George W. Bush succeeded Clinton in 2001. The United States had a budget deficit in 2002, and it has recorded budget deficits every year since. The deficit is projected to increase substantially this year under President Barack Obama.
- Republicans say they should get at least some of the credit for the balanced budgets during the Clinton administration, because Republican majorities controlled both the House and Senate.

Has Congress ever passed a balanced budget?

There is no balanced budget provision in the U.S. Constitution, so the federal government is not required to have a balanced budget and Congress usually does not pass one. Several proposed amendments to the U.S. Constitution would require a balanced budget, but none have been enacted.

Over the past year, we have seen a repeat of long-standing Republican fiscal and economic policies: Republicans have passed a deep tax cut, overwhelmingly benefitting corporations and wealthier Americans; the deficit, predictably, has soared; and Republicans have pointed to the deficits they have created as justification for cutting spending on programs vital to American families, including Social Security and Medicare. This three-step plan is not new. Proponents of the 1981 Reagan tax cuts called it ā€œstarving the beast.ā€ Similarly, the results are not new. This is the third time in recent decades that Republicans have passed deep tax cuts for the wealthy that led to markedly higher budget deficits.
Democrats have taken a very different fiscal approach. Democratic Congresses and Presidents have presided over eras of deficit reduction and even balanced budgets, and Democrats have pushed to require Congress to pay for major new initiatives. While Republicansā€™ main approach to federal budget deficits is to simultaneously create and complain about them, Democrats have actually done something about them.

All total lies.

The "balanced budget" passed by congress, signed by Bubba, and cynically taken credit for by both sides, was never balanced in real time....It was only projected to come into balance in 2002.

In fact, Ross Perot noted dozens of times during his 1992 presidential campaign that, given the current revenue & expenditure models, the budget would come into balance all by itself, in...........wait for it...........2002.

Is there a lie that you liberoidal creeps won't tell, to try and make yourselves look like you give a flying fuck about the common man?

You have to know you're going to get a major dose of pearl clutching demagoguery, when the whole mess is started with hack extraordinaire Larry Tribe. :laugh2:

Every time some lefty judge "finds" a new right, in the constitution, and it is allowed to become precedent,

that is changing the Constitution.

Illegally, at that.

Which of the two major parties do you think will protect that right for women as the nation moves forward.

Or is that right for women just not very important to you?

The inflation spike of 2021 and 2022 has presented real policy challenges. In order to better understand this policy debate, it is imperative to look at prices and how they are being affected.

The price of just about everything in the U.S. economy can be broken down into the three main components of cost. These include labor costs, nonlabor inputs, and the ā€œmark-upā€ of profits over the first two components. Good data on these separate cost components exist for the nonfinancial corporate (NFC) sectorā€”those companies that produce goods and servicesā€”of the economy, which makes up roughly 75% of the entire private sector.

Since the trough of the COVID-19 recession in the second quarter of 2020, overall prices in the NFC sector have risen at an annualized rate of 6.1%ā€”a pronounced acceleration over the 1.8% price growth that characterized the pre-pandemic business cycle of 2007ā€“2019. Strikingly, over half of this increase (53.9%) can be attributed to fatter profit margins, with labor costs contributing less than 8% of this increase. This is not normal. From 1979 to 2019, profits only contributed about 11% to price growth and labor costs over 60%, as shown in Figure A below. Nonlabor inputsā€”a decent indicator for supply-chain snarlsā€”are also driving up prices more than usual in the current economic recovery.

I don't need anything from the FedGov.

I can't prove a negative. Why don't you prove that I do need something from that worthless POS?
Good, you are one of the few who are well off and will not be applying for Social Security or Medicare. It will save the Government lots of money to help those in actual need.

But the $4+ trillion printed up out of nowhere since Jan of '21 is completely blameless!

Good grief, are you moonbats repulsive fucking liars.

Oddball, you've been on a championship caliber roll lately with these truth bombs.

It's refreshing, given the stale, generic, repetitive, boring routine of the election season bumblefuckery to which we're so regularly exposed in the efforts to create the illusion of difference between the scoundrels in higher office.

Kudos.

Odd of you to give this endorsement to the GOPers.
Amending the Constitution requires 2/3 approval of both houses of Congress and ratification by 3/4 of the state legislatures. Its in the Constitution.

Pick the party that represents your best interests.

If you agree with Voter Suppression, vote Republican.

If you agree that SS, Medicare and Medicaid need to be privatized or undone, vote Republican.

If you believe that in some counties Blacks should be deprived of their voices about their rights or needs, by gerrymandering, vote Republican.

Just a few of the reasons to vote Republican.

If you want States like Texas to be able to close almost all Health clinics with the excuse of abortion, which leaves too many poor and middle class people with NO affordable care within miles and miles of where they live, vote Republican.

And if all that you're interested in is absurd strawman arguments, then vote Democrap.

They canā€™t do anything to mess with Medicare or SSI because Biden would veto it.
NFBW: You are not paying attention to the GOP Nutjobs who are telling you what they are going to do if they take control of the HOUSE. They do not need to win the Senate to shut down the government over raising the debt ceiling. Republicans who regard the Jan6 assault on Congress to disrupt the peaceful transfer of democratic power as normal political discourse are signaling that they are going to force Biden to cut Social Security, Medicare Medicaid by defaulting on the Federal Governmentā€™s ability to pay debts already contracted if he dies not give in.

If they keep their word we are looking at an individual economic disaster in the West that Putin would cut off his left testicle to see it happen. nothing good can happen when pure ignorant and irrational assholes like Trump supporters seize control of the House of Representatives and the Constitution gives them unchecked power to use extortion to force an Administration to submit to their will or destroy the global economic system and have a catastrophe unlike the world has ever seen.

The whitest, election denier and insurrection Party of Republicans have nothing to lose if they hold the world hostage. They are as a whites dominated political party that had no where to go but away.

Iā€™m willing to take the risk, the Dems canā€™t be trusted as they keep blowing up debt. SS and Medicare will be funded. The Democrats do not come up with a spending package unless they have the money to pay for it. That is a fact. That is not what makes the debt go up.

The whole world in on inflation status right now. Some countries worse than others. You do not know what is going to happen with inflation to exaggerate as you are doing.

Keep it on factual terms.
