very doubtful for the righteous as you claim - the heavens intervened before noah's death to reset the clock and said they would not do so again.

they will return to destroy what must only be remaining the evil after the last good person perishes - whether they, the good will be resurrected is uncertain for they will have failed and allowed evil to triumph - the desert religions.

And if the Bible is against repetitious prayer in ALL situations, why does Jesus tell the parable of the persistent widow who kept bugging the judge (metaphor for God) until he gave her what she wanted?

He didn't FORBID. He just meant that we should not be like the publicans or was it the rabbis or both?

He meant that we should not just keep asking for the same thing over and over w/o accepting that God has heard already.. I think of that prayer about letting go... about bringing our "toys" to God and asking him to fix them, then hanging around and trying to help Him..

and the prayers didn't get answered because the person never let go... We have to know when we have prayed enough prayers and it is time to let go (is all Jesus was saying).
