Kamala blames Trump for her disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal

Biden made the call to pull out without our assets and a safe zone for the population of Kabul... do you have any idea how many innocent Afghans that decision killed?...
Yep a fair few...
Biden had 2,500 troops in the country when he took over and a deal to be out by April... That deal was signed by Trump.

The deal was shit buit Biden had to either leave or stay and fight. To stay and fight would involve deploying at least 25,000 troops with a fairly high causality rate due to close quarters fighting.

Do the numbers and cutting bait was the best option available.
The media won't go there and report on that but you talk about genocide in GAZA!!! knowing what took place in Kabul after Biden and Harris pulled out the concern for Gaza ranks at zero in comparison....
So you wanted to send in 25,000+ US troops and continue the war...

Biden didn't...

As for concern about Afghan friendlies, Where are you on Stephen Millar stopping them coming to America...

You can look at Millar... Comment about him first.

Biden increased troop levels to 7,000 in the leadup to the failed evacuation, ignored military guidance, led to 13 servicemen being killed and 1,000+ U.S. Citizens and visa holders stranded. Biden / Harris in real-time back in 2021.
Biden gave the generals every thing they requested for the evacuation. The military has a different opinion

"On 14 April, the president announced his decision, and the US military received a change of mission to retrograde all US military forces, maintain a mall contingency force of 600 to 700 to protect the embassy in Kabul until the Department of State could coordinate contractor security support, and also to assist Turkey to maintain the Karzai International Airport, and transition the US military to an over-the-horizon counterterrorism support and security force assistance. It is clear, it is obvious the war in Afghanistan did not end on the terms we wanted with the Taliban now in power in Kabul. Although the NEO was unprecedented, and is the largest air evacuation history evacuating 124,000 people, it came at an incredible cost of 11 Marines, one soldier, and a Navy corpsman. Those 13 gave their lives so that people they never met will have an opportunity to live in freedom."

An ISIS suicide bomber killed and wounded hundreds that day including those 13 soldiers. Biden didn't lose a single soldier in combat with the Taliban.

I never wanted them there in the first place after we "killed" laden.... The money and lives just were not worth it... Bush wanted to make Afghanistan come into the future and be a part of the free world... it was stupid... Obama continued it...
Trump had a plan but he also cancelled several dates because the agreement was not being met by some Taliban fighters...
Biden and Harris did not have to leave... it was their decision....

Biden didn't have to leave... why is this the only Trump move that Biden didn't undo?....

Biden ignored military leadership and insights by using the airport as the evacuation zone -- an insight that leadership encouraged to use a secured zone. Not only that, Biden and Harris ignored military leadership to reserve troops in Afghanistan after the evacuation.

Sorry .. Biden and Harris fucked up .. and she was the last one in the room.

Which is why Trump told both Biden and Harris not to pull out the troops... but Biden wanted the parade on 9-11..... you just made the defense for Trump...
Did Benedict Donald advise him how to handle the end of the truce? In reality Benedict Donald never spoke to President Biden. Benedict was proud of how he hamstrung the military into a no win situation.

"How about that? Worse than Afghanistan, where, by the way, I started the process. All the troops are coming back home. They couldn’t stop the process.

Donald Trump: (22:53)
21 years is enough. Don’t we think? 21 years. They couldn’t stop the process. They wanted to, but it was very tough to stop the process when other things…yeah. Thank you. Thank you. It’s a shame. 21 years, by a government that wouldn’t last. The only way they last is if we’re there. What are we going to say? We’ll stay for another 21 years, then we’ll stay for another 50. The whole thing is ridiculous. So we’re bringing our troops back home from Iraq. We’re bringing troops come from Afghanistan.

Trump’s statement earned a pointed rebuke from one of his fiercest allies, South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham, who tweeted Sunday evening: “I could not disagree more with former President Trump regarding his support for President Biden’s withdrawal of all forces from Afghanistan against sound military advice.”

“With all due respect to former President Trump, there is nothing ‘wonderful’ or ‘positive’ about allowing safe havens and sanctuary for terrorists to reemerge in Afghanistan or see Afghanistan be drawn back into another civil war,” Graham, a noted foreign policy hawk, added.

Biden / Harris broke the agreement when they postponed the evacuation date ... not to mention, the Russian - Taliban partnership as bounty hunters to take out U.S. Servicemen.
They negotiated an extension of the truce with the Taliban, who gladly accepted.

Hahahaha Of course the world's most powerful military could have mounted a redeployment to fix all the problem Trump created by not enforcing the conditions of his conditional withdrawal. In fact I recall in the testimony to the House that he was advised that they could take back Kabul with 10 to 15 thousand troops and only suffer 500 to 1000 casualties. Wouldn't that be lovely to add more Gold Star families to the nearly 2,500 members added to that tragic club from the failed Nation building exercise in Afghanistan. The rest of Afghanistan would cost more but, Joe Biden as CIC could have ordered it. Can you imagine the whining from the Neo-GOP if President Biden had done that?

Hopefully she nails Trump for negotiating with and trusting the Taliban, freeing thousands of them from prisons, and not leaving enough American troops in place to clean up the mess his concessions to the Taliban caused.

They did not extend the Doha agreement, and it adjusted the timeline for the withdrawal and engaged with the Taliban to manage the process and address the challenges that arose during the final stages of U.S. presence. The Taliban didn't gladly accept it, and the Taliban's response to the extension and approach for withdrawal varied and remained fluid. The ongoing negotiations and adjustments were based on the evolving circumstances.

It's okay .. Biden and Harris fucked up .. you'll survive. :itsok:

You know I watched a panel of pointy headed liberals debating the Afghanistan war and the Biden pull out... they were shocked to see on a map how close Bagram airport is to China...
They were real quiet after they saw the map...
Trump said the CCP came into Afghanistan after we left and they have most of our equipment we left behind...
10% for The Big Guy.

Of course they extended it. You didn't see the the fighting start back up on May 1st did you?
No they didn't. The Taliban attacked on 5/1 because the evacuation didn't occur as negotiated and Biden and Harris didn't meet the obligations that were agreed.
